Inaccessible to blind VoiceOver users
The original iassociate 2 game was fully accessible to blind users of apples VoiceOver, this version is utterly unplayable, developers of the second game were fully aware of voiceover as the game includes accessibility and voiceover settings. This version seems to have been written by different developers who haven't taken this into account. I did try asking about voiceover support a few months ago and was told it would be looked at.Show lessalexwallis646
Pay per minute
Horrible practice of making you wait to play a new level. Of course they let you skip this artificial wait by paying them money. Which makes this game essentially a pay per minute thing. Cash grab by greedy developers that simply don’t care about bringing happiness to folks, but only about making as much cash as possible.Show lessSembiance

Game is fun but the timer to unlock new levels is kind of pointless in my opinion. If I’m playing a game, I want to continue to the next level. Not wait a half hour to play again. That’s not the whole point behind a game of this genre. Fun game, some bugs
I have noticed that sometimes when you leave the app with a game still running, then come back later, the hud has disappeared and you are unable to back out of the game to the main menu unless you finish that game. Unfortunately, the last time this happened to me, it wouldn’t even back out after I finished the game. I ended up deleting the game and reinstalling, but then I lost the starter pack I had purchased and see no way to reinstall purchases.Show lessNinian Hawk
Can’t play because board won’t complete
I am currently unable to play this game because, after completing a puzzle, the game did not recognize that it is complete, and will not go to the main menu. This is just stupid. I confirmed that all answers are populated, as well. Can you fix?
Update.... since apparently you releasing one isn’t going to happen. I cannot access this game to play. I have posted the issue, along with hundreds of others, with no response. You app developer site doesn’t even list this game, and therefore, I cannot even request assistance from tech support.

What a disappointment!
I think this may be the study case for “don’t fix what isn’t broken”. I love the previous version of the game. This version got deleted by day 2. The game looks cluttered, there are way too many descriptions, the new little window that opens for every word is hyper annoying, so is the timer. Don’t download it.Show lessj3nia
Unhelpful tech support
The game itself is pretty interesting and challenging. I’ve enjoyed it.
I was dissatisfied with tech support when I contacted them about the issue mentioned by other reviewers (which I also experience/experienced) of the app zooming in in such a way that players are unable to return to the main menu from within the puzzle. When I wrote tech support all I received was a reply stating the issue had “already been resolved”. Clearly not on all devices if I’m emailing you about this. Timers Ruin It
I love the actual gameplay, I’ve been playing since iAssociate 1, about 8ish years ago on my old iPhone 3G. But this one was a total bummer. The levels are pretty easy, I play and beat a level in 5 minutes, then have to wait 20m, 50m, 2 HOURS or more to play again. It totally killed the game. I would understand if the levels were hard but they’re not. They’re fun but not fun enough to want to wait or spend money to unlock the next level! At least give us subcategories to play while waiting. They’re trying to force you to spend real money on gems, and ruined the fun. I like the categories and the clues, but go back to it was in 1 or 2. Get rid of the timers!Show lessJenniPoP
Shadow of its former self
IAssociate 2 was great, challenging but rewarding.
This updated version has fallen in to the terrible state of apps these days, why do I have to wait to unlock a level I have earn keys to open? -ad opportunity! Why not just have it so when you unlock a level there is an ad? Even if it’s a forced 30 second ad it’s not like it’s even a mechanic of the game like waiting for something to be built it’s purely there to encourage ad clicks.
Anyway moving away from the awful implementation of monetisation, the actual game play has been made easier by supplying the letters required to solve it. And even clues so obvious a 5 year old could solve it without knowing the association. This could be fine if there was a way to turn it off like in the previous version, but no, I have now been presumed an idiot who cannot solve the simplest of puzzles.
To summarise, I’m all for “bonus”/paid for content, but the whole structure needs reworking. The puzzles need to be more difficult, with options to not have hints and a normal keyboard rather than predetermined letters.

Unnecessary waiting and ad watching
Not only to have to unlock every single level but even after you unlock it, you have to wait to play. Annoying and unnecessary. Also, if you don’t watch ads to get the bonus reward, don’t expect to have enough to advance to the next stage.Cannearrlyfly
