Still doesn’t work

I have waited patiently for a fix for this game, but even after the update, this game is still not playable. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED! The lighter pieces will not combine, and I can’t add the coin and fire petals. Please get this mess of a game fixed, or refund purchase price.

**Update: There is now an update, I hope everyone would consider revising reviews. Please remember we no longer get new new mobile games like we used to so these are like gold. Please help these indie developers**
I loved this game, and I love the games Absolutists develops. Witches Pranks has such beautiful graphics and was fun to play a different style of hoag, and so was this one.
Please support these indie developers that have had to release mobile games on their own (w/o help of BF games-ugh)
I enjoy your games and please keep them coming, you do have loyal fans❤️❤️❤️❤️

Why did I pre-order this....?

I’m sorry i paid for this. This is just like one of the old (as in several years old!) games. So difficult to follow, the screen needs to be moved up and down each scene. Perhaps it is due to my iPhone X? That would be manageable if it wasn’t so maddening to complete things. Hints take you to places that you can’t complete things (the colored bottles, puppet, etc. I deleted it after fumbling around for too long. Such a disappointment and I feel like a dolt for buying it. 🤬😠

Flawed

Too many times where puzzles didn’t work properly, the map didn’t work properly, even the hint system didn’t work properly. It all ruins the game experience.

Man.....

I hoped it wasn’t as bad as the reviews, but I’m stuck... can’t put the puppet together, can’t light the burners... hint takes me to either place and then tells me to go back.... stage to lab, stage to lab and can’t do anything.... I love your games.. please get this fixed!!! THANKS!!

This game has way to many issues, because of issues that won’t allow you to finish quests. Glitches galore!!

Bugs

After several restarts and downloading over and over, I still can’t get past the combine lighter - I can’t combine, it won’t do it automatically and the flame is already burning under the flask but it won’t let me make the potion...

Problems

All inventory items just disappeared. But able to fix with a hard restart of the game and iPad restart. Graphics are beautiful. Puzzles reasonable. This is an updated review after fixing the inventory issue.

Issues

I haven’t had too many glitches on my end except it sometimes won’t let me click on something that I know I need to pick up or sometimes it won’t let me pick up coins. My issue is that when I know I need something or to do something, I would like some sort of hint as to what I need. For example, when trying to do the elixir. It would have been helpful if I clicked on it and it said something about needing fruit or needing a light or whatever. Instead, I find myself using the hint and that sometimes just takes me to the map which is also not very helpful. I have been very frustrated with this game and I never get frustrated with these types of games, no matter how hard. Also sometimes when I try to use the correct item on what it is meant for I will get a “that’s not right” message and then click on the hint for it to show me that I was right but not getting it in the exact spot that the developers decided it should be so you have to me super exact

I would give this game a 3 1/2, but....

I really love action adventure HOS games, however, this game is very glitchy. There were some areas where you weren’t able to pick up the coins. Another thing I noticed was that I had completed A LOT, if not ALL of the tasks, and the game failed to mark me as completing them. I will finish the game, but until the glitches are fixed, I don’t feel comfortable about giving a full five stars. I think I’ll leave this one on the back burner until the glitches are fixed.
