BUFU stands for By Us For Us to recognise the fact that learning a new language is about taking control and we leverage the power of group learning and sharing. BUFU accelerates learning new vocabulary through writing and reading and most of all by creating a fun experience and supportive environment consisting of students, teachers, family and friends. The student is at the centre of everything we do. BUFU TO MASTER VOCABULARY - Learn and master new vocabulary by using it to write short stories - Don't just write down a list of vocabulary and expressions, use them in a short story to build your confidence - Read short stories from others to acquire new vocabulary BUFU FOR EVERYONE FROM STUDENTS, TEACHERS, FRIENDS AND FAMILY - Everyone can be involved in three easy steps - READ, WRITE and SHARE to create an active community - Review each other's stories and give LIKES to give your approval. - Stories with right level of approval are promoted to reach the wider BUFU community ENCOURAGEMENT LEARNERS TO WRITE THROUGH STICKERS - Create your own stickers and give them to language learners to encourage them to write and publish more! - Everyone can create and assign stickers - get creative in your designs. POWERED BY GROUP LEARNING CIRCLES - Create your own circle of writers and reader to share short stories. - Apply the vocabulary you have learned in real-life situations. GROWING LIBRARY OF STORIES - Growing library of short stories for all levels of language ability. - Some short stories translated to other languages including Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
