I have actually had the opportunity to play this game in the past and I must say for a single developer this game is quite polished! This game has came a long way. So if you are a diehard arpg fan like me and you want to experience someone’s artistic work and passion project along with killing hordes of orcs , undead creatures and oh yes the precious LOOT , then check this little gem out! I Played Through the Story Mode in a Single Day
This game has been steadily improving since I last went through it. The only “flaw” I can see by this point is more of a desire to be able to respec on rare occasion to keep the gameplay more fresh without outright changing characters.
Ended up clearing the available story with a Fire/Life build without dying, but there were some tight points. I think the Goblin and Barbarian Kings could use some more ranged and/or mobility options, since I could kite them fairly safely, while the final major boss available is more or less where they need to be.

Thanks! I'll definitely need it! Yeah, I was considering a button like that, especially that the story mode will have a lot more outdoor levels and testing every wall/mountain from every angle isn't really possible for one person. In the meantime you can just go back to main menu and load that character again. This will send you to the beginning of the level.

Updated 12/09/24. Upgraded review to 5* after purchasing baron status & playing through new “town in need” dungeons (orange portal in capital ;)). Story mode has a few challenging dungeons too, later on.

Amazing game but quest glitches.
I found this game while looking for an ARPG with smooth progression, that’s my kind of game. I read the reviews for Powerlust and knew I had to check it out. The first thing I loved about the game is that you have 2 classes to choose from but many different specialties in each class. Everything about the game is incredible, the graphics, controls, gameplay, and the story has you running around the whole map and exploring everything. There are even funny side quests but I won’t spoil those. I have one issue with the game and it’s a glitch with my quests. When I complete a quest it doesn’t go away. I got the treasure map from the merchant and finished the quest expecting that it would go away once I got the reward, but it still says I need to go find the merchant which was the first part of the quest. It shows up on my screen while playing but when I open the quests tab it isn’t in there. Other than that glitch, I absolutely love this game and it isn’t enough to bring it below 5 stars. Amazing work!

Controller support is atrocious and doesn’t work with a standard controller. Touch interface is so spread apart I would need hands twice as big to reach the abilities during play. I want to play on iPad but it’s impossible.

This game is an incredibly fun hack’n’slash! The controls feel great and everything in the game is easy to understand and get the hang of. I spent a lot of time searching for a solid rpg game and this game finally scratched that itch! 10/10

I love the wide range of magic abilities, spells, skills, items, etc.
And the legendary items are just fantastic, you can combine them to become very powerful-for example one item makes your attacks cause bleeding, second causing bleeding enemies to also get poisoned, and the third item get all poisoned enemies to receive 100% extra damage!!!
