Not bad but needs work
I love the game and have played it on and off for close to a year. The graphics and sounds are amazing for a mobile game and the side quests really keep you going even after the well constructed campy. The only complaint I have is that it’s way too time consuming to get all the boss kills required for weapons training. Needing 30-50 Boss kills is way too much for how long it takes to actually get to a boss. Even with maxed out weapons it takes a minimum of 3 minutes before you can get to a boss and kill it. I suggest either lowering the boss kill requirements or providing a faster way to get them. Another addition that I believe would make the game more enjoyable would be an endless survival mode that becomes progressively harder.Show lessGreyheron28
Fun but could use improvements
It starts to grind on after the first few levels (player levels not missions.) you don’t really earn enough credits or crystals to buy new weapons without an in-app purchase. Perhaps slightly increasing the amount earned a little would keep it from becoming a chore. Or maybe allow the selling of old weapons after you get your new weapons (uhh... oops spoilers). I loved the FIRST Dead Effect 2. What did you people change, Nothing from the first few hours of game play! You might be a small company but why rip off consumers!? At the end of the first Dead Effect 2 was good but NOTHING has CHANGED!!! GREED... GREEDLTLDMAX2.8
Great gameplay/story but the in-game currency system needs to be balanced.
I really enjoyed the first Dead Effect and since I’d recently upgraded from an iPhone 6 to an XS, that meant I finally had enough storage space to install the game so I went ahead and did. I looked up some videos of people playing to learn a few tips and tricks and one thing I noticed from watching old gameplay was that you don’t earn nearly as many credits per mission anymore as you could before the game was deleted and this version took its place. You literally earn about 10% of what used to be possible. Plus the best weapons/armor cost crystals rather than credits but you won’t get enough of those unless you pay for them with real money.
I understand that the game is free and was made by a small group of developers so they need those micro transactions, but it feels like the game could be balanced a bit better for those of us who like to play to win, not pay. Mind you, I’m more than willing to pay real money but would prefer to do it because I want to, not because I have to. Anyway, it’s still a great game and I’d recommend it to anybody with the patience to grind their way through it.Show lessoITzM1K3

Couple of years later and still one of the best looking shooters on iOS! You’re an enhanced cyborg going round a spaceship cleaning up after mad scientist experiments! Zombies, big zombies, monsters, soldiers and cyborg soldiers. Tons of character upgrades armour upgrades, weapons and weapon upgrades! Many special powers too it’s got everything! What more do you want? 2 free chapters with side missions, plenty to do and see. Pay for chapter 3 which leads to new game coming later! Spectacular!👌👍Show lessMkktBkkt

Game gets stuck
Been trying this a few times but the game gets stuck at the part where you have to kill the cyborg dogs but once you kill them, the story does not advance. Shame really as it’s really close to the start of the game and makes it unplayable.
