  • Please I beg you make dark mode optional

The implementation of dark mode makes the app almost unusable. Please I beg you add a preference to disable it for the app. This would be a tiny amount of work. If necessary I would fund it myself just to have an app I use all the time back to how it was. Please please make dark mode optional (ie if the user has dark mode enabled still enable them to use light mode just for this app)

  • Excellent app. Bug on macOS fixed in update.

Excellent app on both iOS and macOS. Very helpful for Latin students, especially "Analysis" feature. Developer responded promptly to fix problem reported in previous version of this review.
  • No support contact. Bug on macOS.

It works fine on iOS. The desktop version doesn't: cannot click "Analysis" tab. Very annoying that the so-called Support web page has no email address or any actual support available.
  • Great but Incomplete

Lists all the properties of words, e.g. their declensions, conjugations, and shows the inflection of words in each of their cases. However, some vocabularies cannot be looked up in the dictionary.
  • The best Latin app I have found

This app is awesome! It is the most helpful app for Latin reference that I have found. Such a great tool for learning Latin.
  • Best of the Latin Dictionaries for Apple Devices

With the demise of SPQR support, Scriba is a worthy successor. Has inflected form search, English-> Latin search, declension and conjugation info, has the Lewis & Short as a basis, and a number of other nice features. I've run it on iPhone, iPad, and iMac (M1). The only real complaint I have is that you cannot copy/paste from the dictionary. And when switching the search method, it clears the search term.

  • Nice app but

Words cannot be selected and copied.
  • REFERENCE

I have been using this app as a reference. Very useful.
  • A Nice L&S App

There are a number of apps that contain the Lewis & Short dictionary, but this particular offering has some advantages in its favour. The key advantage for me is that it will retrieve entries for inflected forms.
