I originally thought this app was amazing; beautiful UI and just the right amount of daily news. However, over time I realized that more and more sources were populating and eventually I began seeing all sorts of sources being pulled from what seemed like the digital abyss. How did he get access to all this, I thought? I honestly don’t know but what is the most concerning is that his privacy policy returns a domain hosting error and in turn has been broken now for at least 5 months.

Really enjoy news now
I enjoy seeing facts not politics. Quill 1440 covers basic news around the world & I am less stressed reading on 1440

Great app - podcasts (were) great. Balanced. Good news aggregation. But $5/month is too high! How about some ads and a lower price???

Great app, it’s been really well thought out and considered by the developer to fit a need, not just to shoehorn in as many features as possible. Looks great, works really well and finally a replacement for the old Yahoo news digests app! Highly recommended - give it a try!
Relief from Opinions
I can finally read ‘just the news’ while I drink my coffee without getting angry at someone. The news itself is hard enough to digest without an ‘opinion’.
Great summaries
In order to stop watching so much news and wasting time, I download 1440. I’ve been enjoying the excellent summaries and the little extras they throw in to each day’s feed. The fact that they site their news sources is a big plus and I feel like they’re pretty objective about what’s going on. I use it daily.

Good if it’s working
I loved this app when I first got it. The stories are statements of fact rather than one paper or another shoving an opinion in your face. However it regularly doesn’t work. Often nothing shows up when you open the app or the previous day’s stories are up all day the next today. Once the only story was some nonsense about the New Jersey housing market and today the headlines are up but the story doesn’t load. It they hired better programmers or something to deal with the several bugs it obviously has I’d give it a higher rated.

I'm pretty sure that the podcast is AI. If not, the newscasters are trying really hard to sound that way. For the most part though, the rest of the digest reads like a small town gazette. No shock and awe, just clear facts.
Excellent news app!
I love how this app summarizes the news without bias or ad bloat! It would be amazing if we could filter out categories to completely eliminate any stories about topics like politics or a specific politician. Or just have it show me news only about a specific category such as just articles about tech news.

What a refeshing news source !
So far I love it way over google news, apple news etc. It gives new summary based on multiple reliable and transparent sources you can make your own judgement, and it is very easy to read in the current information world full of conspiracy theories and bias.

App is great before the update
I love this app but I went to open it today and it wouldn’t load anything even on strong WiFi connection. I uninstalled the app and downloaded the most recent updated one and now I’m getting an error titled QUILL.APIERROR.2 so now the app won’t load anything at all. Someone please fix this. I will put 5 stars once fixed.

Your review was very biased against Bondi. You should have included the factual references made regarding the performance of Biden’s DOJ which was factually weaponized against parents, conservatives and Republicans. Balanced and fair is supposed to be your mantra.
