Description of Math Facts | Chris the Lion

This flashcard game is very flexible for everyone. It lets you know if the answer was correct. And keeps count of correct answers within the allotted time. Once the timer reaches zero, the app stops displaying math facts and freezes the answer counter. The timer can be paused or reset to restart a session. It offers 4 different variables to manage the math facts: 1. Minutes: You can choose for how long to practice, either from 1 minute to 10 minutes. Default is 5 mins. 2. Maximum Operand: You can define the maximum operand for a session. If you choose 10, it will generate operations with numbers from 1 to 10. ex: 4 + 9 or 8 + 10 3. Operations: You can choose to mix addition, subtraction, multiplication & division in a session or just to focus on + or - individually. 4. Parent Supervision: The game provides 2 different ways of interaction to practice math facts. - Parent Supervision Enabled: The answers are not displayed. An adult presence is required to confirm the answer and mark it as correct or incorrect. - Parent Supervision Disabled: This is an ideal option for when an adult can’t be with you to check the answers. You will see 3 choices (only 1 is the correct answer). The app will blink green if their choice was CORRECT and increase the correct answer counter. The app will blink red if the answer chosen was INCORRECT and will NOT increase the correct answer counter.

  • Perfect

This is a great app! My 3dr grader love it because I can practice with him in the afternoons or let him practice by himself while I’m driving or working, thanks to the unsupervised option. It’s very flexible, we can increase or reduce the difficulty of the operations anytime we want. It’s also pretty cheat proof (even when in unsupervised mode)
  • Need “levels” in your settings.

The app is fine. I like most things about it. My disappointment was in the settings part for parents, it was no place for levels. Example 1st, second, third grade levels. The problems were all mixed up and when you have a child doing it you have to set a level. My kindergarten grandchild was playing it. I usually set it for K - 1st.
Like level one or two. This started off with large numbers from the very beginning which most was too hard for her. This is not for a 4+ age group unless you have setting to indicate that. Most did not like the fat with no sound I can deal with that. But if you have Settings for everything else but no levels what’s the point. You don’t even know what age group the app is for until you bought
