  • Appears to be a dead product. Probably don't use, likely insecure

    I was an early adopter of this product since I'm a die-hard homekit user and this was the first doorbell available. A year and a half in, I've seen zero firmware updates andouie no feature updates to either the iOS app or the doorbell itself. This amount of time is like two lifetimes in the world of IoT device. I'll be replacing this soon with either a Logitech or a Eufy doorbell. Very disappointing.

  • No support, don’t honour warranty

    Installed yobi B3 in august 2020.

    Components weren’t soldered properly on power supply board. Got no reply from yobi support and soldered the items myself.

    Camera worked ok for about 6 months, now displays only white picture in daylight. Is ok at night. Contacted yobi support March 5, no response. Sent new email March 30 requesting replacement under warranty. No response.

    Item is sold as a premium product, but support is non-existing. I thought apple were more discerning with their product partners. Clearly I was wrong.

  • Not getting notification on my iPhone

    The camera itself is great. Two obvious problems: 1) Not getting notifications on my iPhone. I have IOS 14 and everything is up to date but no notifications on my iPhone when the doorbell is depressed. 2) you need to add HSV (HomeKit Secure Video) as the competition is getting ahead of you and your not getting good press on the homekitinsider podcast.

  • Very limited.

    I installed this app after I had already installed the camera.

    I was hoping it would have motion detection adjustments but it had zero settings adjustments.

    The only reason to install this app is for firmware updates. I’m really hoping that secure video will be added at some point.
