Addicting! Better than LDOE
So I was playing LDOE for a few days and it was cool, but I was running out of energy so quick! Then I stumbled upon this game and fell in love! This actually feels like a game I would play on a console. I don’t feel like I need any money to actually have fun in the game. The energy takes a long time to refill but if you use it wisely I can easily play for a couple hours before letting it reset. I played for about 6 hours the first day I downloaded it and that’s more than I’ve ever spent in a game for months. I love having it on both my iPad and iPhone so I can easily pick up one or the other and play. I’ve been reading the forums and learning some things are still in development and that’s perfectly ok! I love having things to look forward too while grinding for other things. This made my day and has given me something I can play for 5 minutes or 5 hours without worry of hitting a timer wall!

Great Game, however.
I do genuinely enjoy this game ,however, since the new update I have been getting attacked by the normal wave of zombies every 24hrs. As well as another wave that always holds a 8000hp butcher. Now, if I was able to be on this game every single day and continuously get decent weapons and defenses. It would not be as much of a problem. But when I cannot be on every single day, I come back to a destroyed home. The only other complaint that I have is that the auto turret defenses take way too many rss just to use them. You need rss to build it. Then more rss to install it. Then ever more rss to supply the ammunition. It would be great if the developers could cut down a little bit on the amount of rss it takes to build these defenses. Especially the spikes. It should not cost that many rss just to build 1 spike barrier. Other than that the game is great. I hope the developers see this review and come up with some ideas. Thank you!

Was better than LDOE, but now P2P
First the hood- This game’s gameplay is a good bit more sensible and fun than LDOE. From being able to just reload guns (rather than have them ‘break’ every 5 minutes) to boss fights, to repairing armor, to better home defense mechanics, this take on LDOE is just more pleasant to play (and gives equipment more realistic durability). Although it does not yet have the extent of content that LDOE has put out, it keeps coming with updates and seems on pace to catch up.
The unfortunate- recent updates have really changed this to a pay to play game. You can get everything for for premium currency. Moreover- more things cost premium currency only- want to expand your crafting stations- premium currency- need blueprints for items to craft? Premium currency. A truly unfortunate direction for the game. I had previously rated this 5 stars. Now I’d recommend looking for another reskin of LDOE or just go back to LDOE- more content and if you’re paying anyway... may as well have more.

ITEMS IN MAIL ISSUE ❌
The game is alright in ways..but please do something about the fact that if I do receive items in my mail from - Spoils from the wave, Free chest items that they don’t disappear into thin air like I never received it.

Was better than LDOE...
I used to play LDOE and when I saw this one, it was an immediate improvement. However the most recent update made the game a major p2p. Not only that but the “value” of their in app purchases are not what they are posted to be. A 50 dollar pack will contain items that will take a few hours to obtain. They made upgrading your house to stone (top tier) at least 6 times more resource expensive. Players who are new to the game will never be able to catch up to those who fortified their bases early on. Ever. I’m not whining as an inexperienced player, my entire base is almost stone, but the developers don’t even take the time to notice how inefficient their system is. Now that you can only cut 3 stone at once in the mason when it costs 40 cut stone to upgrade just ONE WALL, the only reason I still play is hopefully they will revert it to the old way. I like the idea of the cold weapon bench, but the new wooden rod is absolutely stupid. Get rid of it. I recommend that everyone rate this app 1 star until their new crafting system is reverted. Do however keep the interlocking chests (where as long as a material is in a chest in your house you don’t have to grab it to craft with it). Also please make walls and floors moveable, they already take a stupid amount of time to upgrade.

Need fixing?
Hey I just started playing this game yesterday but today I set out to go to the harbor and when I got there I started killing some zombies but the engineers won’t die? They are invincible and it’s really affecting my adventuring time.I don’t know if there’s supposed to be a special way to kill them but if you could fix this it would be very appreciated 💯

Amazing Update
Wow... The new update is amazing. One of the best updates I have ever seen in a game. I was starting to lose my interest in the game a bit but this update is so much fun. I just don’t like how the equipment or workbenches work now. Because we can only add 1 pumpkin seed or 1 leather at a time. This will take so much time. The rest is amazing. Keep adding these updates guys. Congrats to the team👍👍👍👍

Latest update shows true intentions
The game was a definite 5 stars for me until the latest update. While yes they have added more content to the game they also snuck in a money grab. They have removed the functionality from all work benches to craft items that take up a full inventory slot. Now you can only craft 2 - 3 at a time unless you spend their in game currency that they would be more than happy to sell you. While on the topic of things they will sell you, I recently bought a coin and rare crate package because I enjoyed the game and felt giving a few bucks to the game developer was the right move. Little did I know that buying that package wasn’t enough in order to open those rare crates I have to spend more real money on the keys! If that isn’t the biggest money grab rip off I’m not sure what is. Again I was a solid 5 stars on this game until this latest update implemented the clear intentions of the game developers (milk as much cash out of the fans as possible).

Latest Update. Why?!?!?
I got into this game fairly recently and so far I love the game. I have already spent fair amount of money in order to progress and save time and as with any free to play game this is fine for me. Now after the latest update many aspect I love such as being able to use any resources as long as they are in one of your chest saves you from opening and closing so many boxes. One single thing that’s completely ruining experience for me is the resource processing. Before you could put 20 of each resources to be processed and you could come back a little later to collect them. Now you only have two slots with only 1 resources each can be processed at the same time unless you spend progressively large sums of coins to increase the slots. This is so time consuming and in my opinion ruins best part of gameplay which is resource gathering. I am finding my self playing less and less of this game now which is a shame as I really enjoyed this game.
