Mildly helpful but with a lot of bugs
The sensor really only detects number of punches and power.
But there is not way of tracking punch power or frequency / timing so it is pretty basic. It has that data displayed in real time but you then can’t access it afterwards.
There are a lot of bugs like the tracking of power and non-power punches just suddenly stopped working and there appears no way of setting the threshold yourself.
Also the profile will not update properly and the change weight / guest function simply doesn’t work also as a round timer it’s not very good as you have incredibly limited options and have to take minute breaks.
I train usually at 2:40 and 40 or 3 and 30 so this can get quite irritating.
Updating regularly (it never seems to be updated) and unlocking the features it can easily have and already collects all the data for would make it much better. Not really worth the high price.

App doesn’t work
Spend $175 on the sensor and the app won’t even let you register an account to get past the log-in screen. Waste of money, wish I never bought the sensor.
App doesn’t work properly
App won’t register multiple hits anymore. Registers 1 to 2 hits every 5 to 6 seconds. Deleted the app and redownloaded it and found I can no longer log in now.
IOS app not working
Zero customer support for a $250/product
Limited but useful-ish
The metrics are very basic - number of punches basically - but it makes the session a little more interesting and helps assess measurable progress etc.
