New features in version 1.4 : • You can now register medals from any other vendors in the GoBack online database : just scan any QRcode-bearing medal and the app will detect if this is not a GoBack medal and propose to register it as a generic one. • New search function : scan a medal with your device and check if it is registered. If the medal is registered, its status and its carrier's details will be displayed along with an option to contact the carrier's owner (if known.)

Description of GoBack Medals

This is the official iOS® application for the GoBack™ Bluetooth pet medals. GoBack medals are Bluetooth devices that individual owners or professional veterinarians can attach to pets to help identify and locate them. For more information about GoBack, go to : https://GoBack.eu/ GoBack users portal and online database : https://portal.goback.eu/ The iOS app for iPhone® and iPad® provides the following functionalities : • Activate and register new medals, and assign them to pets • Write information such as the pet owner's name, phone number & address in the medal's memory • Read medal id and tag id more conveniently by scanning QRcode and barcode to activate a new medal in only two simple steps • Scan for nearby medals, get alerts when medals are ranging in, along with proximity estimation based on signal strength and mark the medal location on the map • Show newly detected medal's status (if the medal has been registered with the online database) • Contact medal carrier's owner with the integrated messaging utility • Specify veterinary name and contact information to the carrier of a medal and these information will be shown to any user detecting its medal in range or doing a search on it • Register any QRcode-bearing medal in the online database, even if it is not a GoBack medal • Search for any medal in the online database by scanning its QRcode (also works with medals other than GoBack medals)
