Reviews of BLASK 2

  • Cool concept, but needs better contols

It is very satisfying to move the pieces around and watch the „laser“ smoothly reflect and bounce.

My biggest gripe is the way one must cover the pieces with a finger (two if u include rotation!) to move. It makes fine adjustments difficult and takes away from the game’s smooth aesthetic.

Maybe allow a piece to be manipulated in a larger radius? Overlapping pieces follow their same z-order? Maybe there‘s a new mechanic in there somewhere...

Thank you for the feedback! You don't have to hold piece with both fingers when rotating. Tap object with one finger and then touch screen somewhere else with other finger. It doesn't have to be exactly in the same object.
  • Fun With Lasers :-O

I think, Blask 2, is pretty rad so far. I'm not that far into the game yet, but I really enjoy the challenge of the levels a lot. You really have to think with this title and strategize how you're going to arc and angle your lasers to reach the dots I believe.

I think the game is challenging thus far but not frustratingly so at all I've found. Finding games that can keep my mind sharp is something I'm always looking for. It feels to me like you have to pull from that spatial reasoning part of your melon when figuring out the cool puzzles in this game. Plus, I don't know about you, but I just love playing with lasers, hehe.

After you spend a while twisting and turning the blocks to try and connect everything to beat the level. Well, I think it is immensely satisfying when I've finally figured out a puzzle after lots of trial and error. I also just dig the aesthetics and overall vibe of, Blask 2. To me, it's as though you're some mad scientist trying to create the ultimate laser machine :P, or some other whacky scenario.

Many thanks to the developer of this app for creating, in my opinion, such a fun and unique experience. Playing this sequel makes me want to go and check out the original Blask title as well. Thanks, again, for this game, all of the hard work, time and effort no doubt put into it and God bless.

Thank you very much for all your kind words!
  • Absolutely incredible game

I’m hooked. I love all the mechanics that are slowly introduced and completely change how you need to solve each puzzle. 80 levels is pretty good, but I wish I had more. The fact that my only complaint is that I binged all the levels and wish I could keep playing just tells you how much I enjoyed this game. I’m happy to be the first written review and I’m sure there will be many more to come...hopefully along with some new levels ;)
