Hi, looks great, but has no sound.

No sound!

A lovely and systematic app, with one problem: the soubd doesn’t work on my device! I have an iPhone 6 with iOS 12.3. It’s almost perfect but it’s hard not hearing the sound.

Hello. Thank you very much for reporting the issue. I have received the same issue time to time but still not being able to identify the root cause. However, I followed the manual again and changed some settings on version 1.2.0 which just became available on AppStore. Could you please update to 1.2.0 and let me know if it works or not ? Please also let me know you use earphone or not , if so using Bluetooth or directly connected, also silent mode is on or off. Thank you very much again for your valuable review.

Extremely good

I’ve used a lot of apps to learn Thai, but this is definitely one of the best. Learning tone rules is tough, but this app helps tremendously.

Best Thai reading/writing fundamentals app in the store!

I can not believe this app is free. I am learning to read and write Thai and this app is perfect for learning the alphabet and all the little rules. I LOVE the class quiz. I am going to really jump forward in my learning using this app. If I could personally give this developer a double handed high five with a chest bump, I would! Thank you so much. And a very clever way of handling ads for sponsors without wasting a ton of the users time.

*UPDATE* I have used this app daily and have seen a significant increase in my reading ability. I have noticed some typos and English grammar mistakes. I’ll make notes and send to you. You can use them if you want. Killer app!

Very helpful

I cannot tell you how nice this app is. I lived in Thailand for awhile and have looked for some apps to help me with the alphabet and writing and reading. This app was easy to follow and breaking up the consonants and vowels into groups made it easier to study. I loved the app from the beginning. I am now on lesson 5: long vowels. My only issue is that the สระ are hard to read in the English version because I don’t understand the phonetics symbols. I like that in the quiz section you use different consonants with the สระ so it helps with reading, too.

I do have a question. In the introduction you say that only 33 consonants are used, but there are 34 listed. Which one is not used so much? Also. I like that this app only focuses in the letters used. Other apps add the ones never used so u have to learn things you don’t need.

I give this app an A+.

Really useful

This is a very tidy and well structured application for learning Thai writing system and pronunciation. It features a unique Thai tones training section, incredibly helpful.

I’ve literally been using this app for 2 days and I am in love. This is absolutely amazing and I’m honestly stunned by how well it’s working for me so far. The only thing I don’t like is that it doesn’t teach you the way to write the letters. Thankfully, I already knew how to write the letters going into this so it isn’t a personally problem for me but I feel like it might be an issue for absolute beginners.

Good learning app!

I’ve used the app for 10 minutes straight and genuinely fell in love. I’ve been trying to learn the Thai alphabet for 2 days straight and couldn’t because it was so hard. This app was definitely a life saver.
There were a few flaws I could not stand which were how short the lessons were. I didn’t like how you just have to press a button to hear the sound and then you go directly into a “quiz” or so. Wish the lessons were a little longer.

It would have been fun if it showed how the letters are written because I genuinely want to learn how to read, write and speck Thai.

I was born in Thailand but I moved to the United States at 2-3 years old and my mom was thinking of visiting Thailand in a few years, so I want to be well prepared.

I hope you add more features that are educational, easy and fast to learn.

I want to stay with you guys till I am advance in Thai or fluent. Please add more features. 😍😍👍👍
