To the maker of this game.
By itself it seems like an amazing game.
I played it at 10:30 at night and when it's dead silent with this sound it scared me. I loved it. After the death on the third or fourth mowed lawn is there anything else? Or is that part of the April fool's prank that there is nothing. Please tell me I'm eager to play more with hopes there is more to this game.

Thanks for your review! There are ten different endings but that’s it. Good luck!
  • Changed my life.

The world, as I knew it, was a blur of deadlines, meetings, and the relentless pursuit of career goals. I was a cog in the machine, a drone in the daily grind, my spirit slowly withering under the weight of endless to-dos. My weekends, once a beacon of freedom, were swallowed by chores, errands, and the constant feeling that I was always playing catch-up. I craved escape, a refuge from the incessant demands of modern life. I yearned for something simple, something grounding, something that could reconnect me with the forgotten joys of being present.

Then, one fateful day, I stumbled upon it. "Advanced Lawn Mowing Simulator," a game that promised to transport me to a virtual world of meticulously manicured lawns and the satisfying hum of a powerful engine. I scoffed initially, the idea of a video game dedicated to lawn care seemed utterly ridiculous. Yet, a spark of curiosity flickered within me. I downloaded the game, and in that moment, my life took an unexpected turn.

As I entered the virtual world, a wave of tranquility washed over me. Gone were the emails, the notifications, the relentless pressures of the outside world. I was in control, a master of my own domain, a gardener in a digital paradise. I chose my mower, each model meticulously crafted, from the sleek precision of a robotic lawnmower to the rugged power of a classic petrol engine. I selected my lawn, each virtual garden a unique tapestry of vibrant green, dotted with colorful flowers and swaying trees.

With each stroke of the virtual mower, my stress melted away. The rhythmic hum of the engine became a soothing lullaby, the gentle vibration of the controller a physical manifestation of my newfound peace. The repetitive nature of the task, far from being tedious, was strangely meditative. I found myself lost in the simple act of mowing, my mind free from the swirling anxieties of everyday life.

As I progressed through the game, mastering different techniques and unlocking new challenges, I felt a sense of accomplishment I hadn't experienced in years. The satisfaction of a perfectly mowed lawn, the pride in my virtual gardening skills, brought a sense of purpose I had long forgotten. I was no longer just a cog in the machine, I was a craftsman, an artist, a master of the green.

The virtual world of "Advanced Lawn Mowing Simulator" had become more than just a game; it had become a sanctuary, a space for me to reconnect with myself, to find joy in the simple things, to rediscover the peace that had long eluded me. My weekends, once consumed by mundane chores, now became a time for relaxation and creativity, for immersing myself in the virtual world of perfectly manicured lawns.

The impact of the game extended beyond my virtual realm. I found myself taking a renewed interest in my own neglected yard. The act of mowing my own lawn, once a chore, now became an enjoyable ritual, a mindful practice that brought me a sense of accomplishment and connection with the natural world. The game had awakened a dormant passion within me, a love for the green, for the beauty and serenity of a well-maintained lawn.

My life had been transformed. The once-dreary monotony had been replaced with a sense of purpose, a renewed appreciation for the simple things, a rediscovery of my own inner peace. All thanks to a video game, a virtual world, and the humble act of mowing a lawn. The green had become a symbol of my transformation, a testament to the power of finding joy in the unexpected, a reminder that sometimes, the most profound changes come from the most unlikely sources.

The world still demands my attention, the pressures of life still exist, but I carry within me the lessons learned in the virtual world of "Advanced Lawn Mowing Simulator." I approach my days with a newfound perspective, a gentle mindfulness, a quiet appreciation for the beauty of the simple things. The green remains a constant reminder, a reminder that even amidst the chaos, a moment of peace, a sense of accomplishment, and a connection with the natural world can be found, if only we open ourselves to the unexpected.

As you can see it’s not just a game but a life changing entity.
  • Retro genius

This is the best crap game ever. I love it!

    Thanks!
  • Advanced?

The graphics are equal to Atari or Intellivision. If you try to select any of the first 5 mowers you get an error stating they are broken. Twice in a row I got a quarter of the way through mowing and was killed? You can't alternate directions like you would if you were actually mowing... I am going to assume when the developer named this "Advanced" they were being sarcastic. Complete garbage.

Thank you for your review. Indeed, the game is from 1988 and as stated in the description, is was an April fools joke game. Everything that's bad about is, is intended. Hope you enjoy many more hours of play!
