Update: Greatest OBD app again
Updating my previous review after the phenomenal team at Infocar responded to my bug request immediately. It’s now fixed.

Was the perfect OBD app until recent updates broke live sensor reading completely. I have been a premium subscriber since it was introduced, and loved this app so much. Used it daily. Sadly, until this is fixed I will be looking elsewhere and probably canceling my subscription.Developer Response

Maybe this is a good app and you can find a lot of information from the app but unfortunately this is useless for everyday use since you have to open the app and wait for the connection. Look at ZUS app. it’s connecting automatically I forgot about it but it reports automatically. If you can include auto connection function, this will be best app! I don’t believe autoconnection is not supported in iOS. ZUS app is connecting automatically without noticing me so I forgot about it actually but it reported after el whenever I drove.
p.s. you can see bimmerlink can connect automatically to wireless OBD adapter but you can’t.Show lessgagsgsgshejdjjrkfjcbc

Hello. This is Infocar. First of all, we apologize for the inconvenience. The autorun function of iOS is not supported by Apple's security policy. However, it is not supported by the Infocar app, but if you use the automation function of the Apple-only app "Shortcuts", you can receive the app execution PUSH when the vehicle is connected to Bluetooth.Good honest app.
This app does what it says it can, it is advertising supported if you don’t pay for premium access, so be aware of the pop ups and expect them.
I was able to scan, detect and clear most ECU errors, the link to workshop data is also really useful.
The detail and volume of data you are able to access is really good. I use it with a 2000 VAG vehicle and with a tweak of the settings to ensure the app reads the right data protocols, I can see all I need to without going premium. I have used it with several cars, all newer, and the same data or more is available.
It will only show you what the car knows, for instance a mechanical fault on a diesel turbo didn’t show up because there isn’t a sensor on the car to inform the ECU. Don’t expect it to tell you the tyre treads for the same reason. It will give you all the sensor information available such as air intake temp, fuel use, engine load and rpm.
I am tempted to go premium as a thank you to the developers.

Not working properly with the others obd-scanners. Loosing connection very often.

I do like this app however I have a bigger engine and it doesn't have my displacement so I know a lot of my numbers are not accurate however I like to display and the ease of use.!1!1000
