  • Asked to give review

I’m not a fan of apps that give free stuff for good reviews. It makes people think the product is better than trash. This has issues, but is pretty correct in the translations. Issue would be that you can’t look at the translation full screen. Half the screen is covered by the original language that you don’t understand.
  • Really good for school

I don’t know any French and with the French teacher that I have she didn’t teach me anything, and expect us to know how to do the homework. So being able to understand everything that I need to know is really helpful. And the adds aren’t even that long which makes it pretty handy. And with getting A’s I’m very happy with it.
  • From the future

Never in my lifetime did I imagine I could find this level of inter-language translation!
I look forward to more of the languages being able to transmit in voice, and I look forward to more languages, such as Kinyarwanda.
Thank you for all your gargantuan work on this.
  • Best Translator I’ve Used

Picture translation has become a huge help for me, and this app works so well. Letting you set the area you want to translate, being easy to use. I absolutely recommend it, it’s worked really well for me in translating Japanese.
  • Accurate translator

This app has a simple user interface and is easy to use. This allows me to get my translation quickly. Highly recommend
  • It works

I’ve tried a few different apps like this, and stuck with this one as it seems to work - trying to translate a manual for a Japanese synthesizer I got online. I scan the page (even the keyboard itself - the app manages to get most if not all on the actual object), press a button to capture the writing, then a basic word for word translation is shown. I’m not sure how exact — I scanned what turned out to be the warranty, it began “Oh God, Oh God, Oh God” which I guess involved a figure of speech meant to convey urgency, and wouldn’t be translated literally by a human. Still, it does the job. Not sure I’d use it to translate Buddhist sutras or haikus, but for my purposes it is fine. Note: I’m leaving this review in order to get a newer version, but I was honest in my assessment.
  • Offered a deal

I haven’t even seen the translation yet but the app is offering a deal for me to give 5 stars and this review to get a paid version for free apparently. Don’t know if this app is any good.
  • Pretty cool app!

Nice app. I’ve only had it for a short while but it is very interesting and helpful. It helped me translate an inscription on the bottom of an old Asian teacup that I’ve had for many year’s but never knew what it meant! Thanks for the assistance! :)
  • Clean interface but not very customizable

Clean interface, easy to use, perfect for basic users. I would like to have possibility to translate into multiple languages with one click
  • I recommend

This has been a valuable tool for me while traveling in China. You can use it off line if you save favorite translations before you disconnect.
