  • Disappointed

My intention for using this app is to improve my hand at controlling the speed and movement of the cue ball. If that is your intention, this app will not do.
  • Don’t waste your time!

It opens straight to the pool table. Positive...table fills the screen. However you can’t tell where you’re aiming, you can’t see the cue stick while you’re shooting, and it’s not even remotely realistic. Concept great....needs lots of work!!!

    Developer Response

Hi there, thank you for providing feedback regarding your experience of our app. We found the easiest way to aim within the app was to tap and hold where you want the ball to go. So if you want to hit a particular ball, just hold your finger over the ball and the cue ball will hit it once you release. Regarding your second point, the cue stick is usually very visible when you shoot - however, if the cue ball is right next to the edge of the table, it's possible for the cue stick to (nearly) disappear from drawing back too far, provided that it is pointed along certain angles. This was a trade off we made while making this game, as the alternative was for the table to not fill the entire screen. In our other pool game, a 3D eight-ball game called Pool Champions, we decided against this trade off and gave some carpeted free space around the table so as to give more wiggle room for the pool cue (since we needed space for the scoring system in that game, this was a necessity anyway). In any case, we apologize that you were not satisfied with our app and hope that you can understand why we made the tactical decisions we made regarding its user interface.
