  • I don’t know anymore?

    This app is constantly crashing, I’ve had to delete and download this app so many times it’s frustrating. Then it’ll say the app is updating and crash again! Also when you try and set your credentials and distance it doesn’t work. Why do I need to see a job available 100 miles away? And good luck with actually being approved for a shift, you’ll request a shift and it’ll just sit there with no response or be denied and the job is still posted. The worst part now is the app doesn’t even allow me to send a message within the app without seeing an error message. It’s tiring having to waste time just to rarely be approved for a shift and nothing within the app that explains why. Like if I’m being denied a shift at a facility I’ve picked up at before the app should tell you, facility doesn’t want you working there etc, so you don’t waste time sending repeated requests! There’a also times when I’ve been booked and at the last hour the facility cancels me! How can anyone live off unreliable schedules. It’s really not fair to be canceled once booked for a shift! The app developers need to make some serious changes within this app.

  • Better PRN Nursing apps out there

    So with this app it’s always glitching. You open the app it’s blank. Confirmations take days. You will
    Only be a Candidate for instant pay after working three shifts which is a total joke because it’s hard enough just to get scheduled for one! The filtering is horrible. It’s same day registries that are way more functional than NURSA. You get approved immediately and paid in a timely fashion ie INSTANT. I think these companies are trying to copy one another however NURSA is behind with this app. The way this app functions I don’t see how a clinician can effectively utilize it as extra last
    Minute income or even part time. Oh and if and when you aren’t selected for a
    Shift the notification is only in the app so no push notifications like other apps so if you don’t log on you won’t know
  • Waste of time

    App never loads properly, updated every single time you open it. Doesnt save settings for location, license type, etc. VERY few facilities in my 2 states Im licensed in which arent small and have major metro areas. Chat connection and help is pointless. Has closed facilities listed, difficult to find facilities using the search. Im used to budding for shifts but the response time to know if youre scheduled is insane. Ive bid on over 30 shifts and gotten 2 as nurse with 15 yrs experience with agency. Looks like theyve had the same issues for at least a year and done nothing from the feedback here. I really wanted to love this app but its been pointless after having it for about 6 mos.
  • App has too many problems

    I love the idea of NURSA but the app has too many problems. To clarify, I’m an iPhone user. The app ALWAYS logs me out (in the beginning it left me logged in) which not only means the pain of having to login every time, but if facilities accept or cancel, I don’t get notified unless I login again. The app is also constantly telling me it’s updating, which prevents me from logging in all together. I have to constantly remove the app from my home page and reopen it for it to work.

    It’s also nearly impossible to get your first shift. It took me resisting close to 60 shifts before getting my first approval. I believe the algorithm favors people who have worked the most shifts, which leaves the rest of us without work. Half the facilities I request a shift with never even respond to the shift request.

    Because of severe weather, I wasn’t able to work the only shift that’s been approved, so now I’m back to requesting over and over with no success.

    App desperately needs improvement.
  • It’s great but…

    There are many glitches I wish to have fixed soon. Like the app freezing, my saved filters not actually being saved and having to filter out my location, dates preferred, role and distance. It almost feels like a chore every time. I also wish the communication between nursa and the facilities was better because my request to work is being denied almost always and it is very inconvenient when someone is looking for work. I thoroughly enjoy working for this company and it would be so much smoother if these things were fixed. Thank you.

    I give this app a 3 stars. I like that there are facilities near me that I can choose from which is a select few and then the rest like 80 miles or so away. One could definitely earn a part time or full time income doing this if you get scheduled. The problem with this app is that the need for help at these facilities is great but the response time is slow and or no response. The need for help is great but I also don’t like that when requesting a shift at a location of choice the position is eventually filled by someone else but then that same position that I requested 2 days ago is looking for help again. I don’t like the fact that this is happening at multiple locations and multiple times a week when I have requested the shift. I could be requesting to work a shift the same day and then eventually say the shift is filled by someone else and then an hour later their looking to fill the shift again. If you work in healthcare, a person will eventually find out that the need for help is great and that most healthcare places are always short staffed. So do workers a favor and use registry. Nursa needs to do at first come, first served so staff members are not getting burnt out and the facility is not left short staffed. That’s what it’s here for. Another thing that the app does sometimes is take a while to load and then it will say error and become blank. With that being said, this app could use some improvement and I give it 3 stars.
  • Freezing accounts

    The app is ok and let’s you get paid instantly. But when it come to unexpected situations the platform took forever to get back to me and I’m still waiting . They froze my account for 2 weeks , due to me having to cancel my shift my baby sitter died suddenly and i had to cancel the shift I had nobody to watch my kids. I been submitted a request to unfreeze my account. Nobody call or emailed me . I explained to the representative the situation And that it was not my fault my baby sitter passed away. It’s been a week and nobody got back to me so I can work! I don’t like that they freeze your account like that life happens not happy about this, was 5stars in my book now 3.
  • Terrible App

    It was easy to get started to pick up shifts, but this is is horrible. Searching for shifts is so difficult. It brings up massive lists of facilities, some labeled as closed. You put in a city it will say no shifts…but if you type in a facility name youve worked at shifts may come up. If you put say Houston, TX nothing comes up, but type Houston and you might get results. It also doest pull from the surrounding areas. Most apps will show you anything adjacent to a larger city, like a suburb like Sugarland for Houston. This app only brings up exact matches. I see shifts 8 states away, but nothing near me despite location being on. The shifts that do show up arent really in any type of order so its easy to miss things.
    The developers really did a very poor job with this app and should have consulted some actual clinicians that have to use it. Simple things like a map search, or removing the closed facilities, using location, would make it a lot better. You also should be able to add more than one state license. A lot of cities on state lines have people that are licensed in both who cross over to work. I really hope the make improvements to this app.
  • Don’t pay accurately

    Nursa had me pick up a shift and as I was working that shift, they made it disappear in the app and scheduled me, without my consent, for a shift the next day. When I claimed the shift that they erase from the app, Nursa and the facility where I worked (Sloans Lake Rehabilitation, Co) came up with an imaginary rate and time worked. Although I mentioned the time and the pay rate were wrong, they changed nothing. They did not let me fill out the report shift as usual. It’s unfair to steal from people who HARDLY earn their money. I left my family at night, for a last minute pick up shift, to spent my night caring for others. Now they are stealing they money I was hoping to get and use to care for my family. Oh God this is too much for me!
