Options to enter Serial Number or Manual connection not visible
Since the latest update, the manual connection option for Bluetooth connection has disappeared. I can’t connect to my system via Bluetooth , which means I can not alter the schedule, as the facility to schedule charges via wi-fi does not work at all. This is a major fault. Given that this is the only app supported by my inverter supplier, it needs to be addressed urgently.

Inverter not showing up on the app
Connected my phone to the inverter WLAN but the app still didn’t detect the inverter. The developer should add and support more inverter models in the next update. In the end had to use a different app to connect to the inverter.
Wrong Calculations
Consumption calculation is wrong and many other bugs still to-be fixed for the long time Both consumption data still not match
Poorly Executed
The application works overall, but it’s hard to use. I’ll update my review if you guys can look into the following:
1. The navigation buttons (navigation bar) are positioned way too low, land very hard to press. Devs, there is something called padding, use it and move the navigation buttons upwards!
2. The graph screen shows way too much information, just add one line for battery, one for grid, and one for grid (gen load should do).
3. Improve overall look and feel!

Pretty barebones app compared to other Inverter company apps
I work in IT so I’ll comment on both the usability and technical aspects of this app as I’ve been using it for over a week on daily basis to monitor my PV9000 inverter.
The app is inconsistent when connecting locally via BT vs Wi-Fi. Eg on BT the Gen/Heavy load is categorized separately in the animated diagram section but on Wi-Fi the Gen/heavy load is shown combined with the light load. So it’s basically a downgrade as you now has less data points for reference. It would be fine if BT range was great but my 2022 model PV9000 unit BT range drops off after about 10-12 feet which is baffling as my other Bluetooth devices work in over 20-25 feet range. So BT option for the app is basically gimped unless you’re standing right in front of the unit. So the only option is to use Wi-Fi.
Next, the charts. They’re horrendous. There should be more options like bar chars and pie charts. So far it seems like a students final year project as there is a single barebones chart option. The color choices for the different chart items are also terrible.
The Wi-Fi data on app also has minor bugs eg in some areas it will report PV generation as 0 until our system has generated over 1kW. It should be updated in smaller intervals more accurately.
I’ll have more thoughts but so far there is massive room for improvement in the app. I hope Solar max gives it more attention rather than leaving the app as a basic placeholder as an obligation.
