Features:
Yoga and Breath
Yoga is a synergistic mind-body therapy, not a religious practice. Studies show regular yoga and breath practice improves conscious awareness of the body & inner-outer environment. This awareness supports the development of a good relationship with a body that may be compromised by cancer and its treatment.
Meditation
Meditation is a practice of being compassionately aware of the present moment and helps us change our relationship with cancer. Science supports that meditation may reduce difficult elements of a cancer experience - fear, uncertainty, pain, insomnia & a ‘new normal’ post-treatment void.
Natia offers a variety of meditation practices, along with explanations of its benefits.
Music
In conjunction with conventional cancer treatments, music has been found to reduce pain, discomfort, diminish stress, and enhance better communication of fears and other difficult emotions.
Natia offers the opportunity to listen to specially curated therapeutic music, to enhance relaxation and to connect with emotions.
Conversation
Dialogue is shown to help people feel that they are not alone. Our conversations are between people living, working, or affected by cancer and are uncensored. We aim to help people make sense of emotions, feelings & sensations thus adjusting better to the change cancer can bring to their lives.
Journaling and mood tracker
Research has shown that journaling helps people experience a greater sense of emotional well-being. You can also record how you are feeling with our mood tracker.
Thoughtful Words
Words and phrases that invoke thinking or kindness. Reviewing these daily may inspire compassion for yourself or for others.

What's New in NatiaCares
1.1.2
June 10, 2021
Thank you for using NatiaCares! This update contains bug fixes, homepage and interface changes, and other small changes.
New content added regularly including meditation, poetry, yoga, conversations, and original music.
I have been using this app for the past month, mostly utilizing meditations at night time and have noticed a great improvement in my mental health because of it. As a two time cancer survivor I find the meditations to be very personalized and helpful for someone recovering from intensive treatment and trauma. I particularly enjoy the “arrival and setting the scene” option and the way the speaker shares personal anecdotes as well as scientific evidence. I would recommend the app for all those going through or recovering from cancer treatment.
