Pretty dreadful
O.Connect with Aperta video doorbell.
Set-up, by hard wired LAN connection, was a complete waste of time. Had to install a WIFI repeater to enable connection.
As pointed out by others, the doorbell loses its connection to the network which means you don’t know when it’s not working.
Even at home with a good WiFi connection on my phone, by the time I’ve responded to the door bell ringing the person has long gone.
Recently, the App is asking for permission to enable location for WIFI SSID. Why?
All in all, it’s pretty dreadful. It was a pain to wire this up to the mains and provide a LAN connection, the reworking and subsequent redecoration is the only reason I’m not pulling this rubbish gimmick of a product out and moving to Ring - which I should have done in the first place.Show lessMC0071ghhhfg
Can’t talk to visitors
When the door bell rings and I want to talk to the visitor it says system busy.Miss Wotta Ting
Does not automatically reconnect
Sadly, if the router is restarted by your provider or after a power cut, the app does not automatically reconnect. The result is that you are without a doorbell until you realise it is not working. A simple power off and power on then resolves the issue. Otherwise, not a bad app…wasteofmonry
Could be better
Great interface and easy to use but keeps disconnecting from camera. You have to be super quick to find the clip you want to download or it just disconnects.
Such a shame as the hardware is decent.

Pir sensor going off all the time, even on low sensitivity, had to disarm function which defeats the point of having the function. ☹️Handy Spark
Terrible app
Features are not features at all. It doesn’t motion record. The app is buggy. The language clearly has a barrier. Secufirst junk camera connects to it. All around junk.lowlow951
Latest update created bug
App was ok until the latest update. Now it turns the video doorbell on all the time and drains the battery. Needs fixing urgentlyCaptainCommuter
