Search option
I am new to EO and have taken several good looks at this app. I am over all pleased with the app and the info on each oil. I do wish there was an option to type in a symptom, like stress tor instance, and bring up a list of oils that could help. Quick reference would be a great addition to this app. Not a fan of going thru the entire list of oils each time I need some for a specific need.

Great idea but...
This could be a wonderful app. It is visually pleasing, and a good presentation. It has a lot of good information as to how the oil works and what it’s made from etc. it has an inventory list (why I got it) and place to add what you need to reorder. All f that is a great idea.
However, it’s a bit confusing as how it works. Just looking at an oil adds it to your inventory, it’s takes ages to load a page, the links seem to go to a different page each time. If it weren’t for these issues, I’d be happy to pay $7 for it. But due to the difficulty and slowness, I hardly use it. Which is very sad, because it really could be a great and very useful app.

Pay for Recipes? No thx, I’ll keep using Pinterest
I rated low to draw attention to the fact that you have to pay for recipes. On one hand, there are some great features that make tracking faves, shopping list, inventory really easy and I love that, but come on, $30 a year to get recipes? I’m already irritated that there isn’t an option to skip a month on my monthly orders and now this... another way to put money in their pockets. While this app and all features should be free, especially for those of us that are monthly essential rewards subscribers, I wouldn’t be writing this review if I had to pay a few dollars for a one time app purchase. Is there such as a thing as an essential oil that eliminates BS? 🤬

Out of Date
Three major fails:
Minus 1 star: Not up to date for even some of the common oils/products.
Minus 1 star: lack of ability to manually add products (in my opinion, this is important if we’re paying a premium fee but the products are not regularly updated).
Minus 1 star: Recipes that include Eucalyptus are all only saying Eucalyptus Blue as the ingredient. Some of the recipes would be best with Eucalyptus Radiata or Eucalyptus Globulus.
It’s not a great app, but it’s not the worse if you’re looking for simplicity of keeping an inventory of items.
Some other changes could include: fixing the major lag the app has when trying to add to your inventory, Adding a quantity counter for total bottles. It currently only counts the total of different oils which is great but I also like to double check my total bottles before I manually go through the entire list (if needed). I would like an option to also add my own recipes. It’s great how it allows me to add a note to a recipe or a oil, but that’s not as efficient as having the ability to add a new recipe under “local storage” or “personally added oils.” Would it be great to have the ability to sync across devices or export/import? Absolutely! But I feel like that’s just me being nitpicky and needy now.

Good app but....
A very comprehensive guide but would be interested to see where some of the statements regarding medical conditions are coming from such as stating quite clearly that “liver cancer is caused by solidified hate.” Always check on reputable sources for these types of statements.
Highly recommend
For many, this is the preferred young living essential oils reference guide on the topic of essential oils. This app is informative and thorough. It's clear and concise. You will find yourself referencing it again and again. It's chock-full of recipes and long-standing remedies. One of the reasons people love this app is because the author is practical. She was an expert long before the essential oil craze. She wrote this in a simple clear-cut manner without any hype. Honestly, if you like essential oils you will appreciate this app.

Awesome young living essential oils reference guide
I wanted to learn new recipes using essential oils. I bookmarked a few I liked most such as an argan sugar scrub and a headache recipe. I also learned about new oils I need to buy such as sandalwood, spearmint, carrot seed, and vanilla

A MUST HAVE app
I downloaded this young living essential oils reference guide app & must say I love it! It's totally compliant, has tons of recipes & is super easy to use. There is a lot of education in here, something that is definitely needed to know the how & why of essential oils.
