AVOID AVOID AVOID. Useless, lose all progress

Spent 6 hours working on a project for me to get an error and for it to be corrupted.

Spent another hour re-doing the project only for it not to save (after having claimed it saved).

AVOID AVOID AVOID. Absolutely USELESS.

Paid paid paid paid

Served me well for 3 years, lacking some basic tools

I love SoundLab! As a dancer, mixing music is a must, and Soundlab is great for mixing anywhere and anytime. It’s very intuitive and has various effects. I haven't used the free version since the first day I downloaded it, though, so I can't comment on how that carries over for free users. I don't know if its still the same, but I was able to get all the features with a one-time purchase, and it was so worth it! I will say, while it offers many wonderful effects, there are no curves and you cannot cross-fade. Adjusting the volume of a track isn't simple as in most programs. Also, you can only use it on your phone— no cross-platform on your computer. Also, you cannot make an empty track, which gets annoying after years of use. I hope my complaints don't taint anyones perception of this app, though— it’s great for those who are just starting and need an easy-to-grasp app with tons of features and capacity for greatness.

Thank you for your support and trust! You’ve highlighted several precise issues. If I understood correctly, you pointed out 4 problems: 1. Missing intuitive control of fade in/out curves on the waveform: This feature isn’t particularly complex; the main challenge is finding a new intuitive way to control the volume envelope lines within the existing waveform drawing and gesture control system. 2. Inconvenient volume adjustment: I completely agree. I am considering using a fullscreen slider that appears when the user clicks, replacing the current slider that requires very small fingers to control. 3. Lack of a PC Version: My main concern is how to compete with other existing famous software if we release a PC version. For example, what reasons would you have to use SoundLab on PC instead of Audacity? However, as a preparatory step, I will soon add mouse and keyboard support to the iPad version. 4. Inability to Create Empty Tracks: I am very sorry; this feature has been lacking for long time. I want to explain that this is not due to negligence or laziness, but because of a series of interrelated interaction design issues, such as how to clearly display and distinguish an empty track from one with a 0.5-second fragment at the end. I will address these issues and add this feature as soon as possible. Thank you very much for your honest feedback; it is invaluable to me. I hope you continue to support SoundLab.

Fake don’t buy it

It’s don’t move like hove they are showing you it’s a lie and a joke of an app

Response from developer

Hi, please select and long-press a clip to drag and move it on the timeline.

Great, however….

It is great because it is clear and professional-sounding. It is bad because I can’t listen to what I already have when harmonizing. Maybe I haven’t found it yet, but that’s what I’ve seen so far. I have tried almost everything, tried soloing and all, but I couldn’t make the harmony perfectly aligned and clear. Please, anyone who is willing to help, including the developers, write a separate review if you know the answer, and I hope the developers see this review. ❤️ Bye everyone and have a wonderful day! 😘

Hello, thank you for your support and feedback. If I understand correctly, the function you are talking about refers to the "play and record" function in the audio editor. This feature is working in progress and will be released soon.

Would Get the Pro But-

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a decent app for what it can do. The only problem is that the free version doesn’t really allow you to do much, which means you can’t FULLY try the app before you buy it. There’s still a few features I’m not sure are even on there, like noise levelling, and I don’t want to have to pay to find out. The free version is very restrictive in creating as well, and even if you undo an action, you still can’t use “more than 2 effects” before you have to upgrade to the pro, which is frustrating when you want to try out what little free effects they have. It’s disappointing as I wanted to use this app, but I’m not paying to see if it’s what I would need.

Response from developer

Hi, I understand your suggestion and this is a very reasonable. In order to survive, we cannot make all functions free for users to use, please understand. However, we should indeed design a mechanism that allows users to hear the processing effect in advance, and we will think about whether there is a good way to solve it. Thank you for your feedback! Add: Most of audio effects support preview now in v2.8.0. You can try them for free. Thanks!

I like it

I love this it's just I can't get pro

Yay you fixed it!

I’m happy you fixed the problem as I can now upload my exports from Soundlab to my distributor. Befire I reported how something was being attached to the audio causing the distributor to reject my flac and wav files from Soundlab. I was having to export from GarageBand which really has good quality 24 bit wav files. But your 16 bit wav is great too and smaller file size. I tend to upload flac files to my distributor but can’t use flac at all times as they’re not allowed when sending the audio files elsewhere. Thank you. You are great with fixing issues or upgrading your app. I love it. It’s easy to use and convenient. Five stars!

2024.04.03 Update: The issue may be related to the recently added cover art support for FLAC and WAV files. Some users have also reported the issue and it appears we will have to temporarily remove the feature to ensure file compatibility. We will release fix build asap. Thanks for your feedback! Add:Hi, frg and lfrg files are project internal file which used by audio editing engine, please do not delete them. Hi, bit depth is 16bit. Add: could we know what application recject the wav file, there are also factors that may cause compatibility problems, such as: samplerate, interleave or non-interleave for possible. We can try find the root cause. Thank you for providing further information! Add: the export file's bit depth now will be always 16bit, to get maximum compatibility.
