I should have heeded the reviews. This app approaches useless.
Do not bother. Anti-intuitive, full of flaws and lacks a reasonable/usable manual.Frustrated-Again grrrr
Competent little drag-n-drop HTML editor
this is not DreamWeaver - but it IS a very solid little drag-n-drop editor, you can easily develop and upload your personal or small business webpages with this tool.
drag n drop arrangement of web-elements, drag to where you want them.
link and mange a bunch of pages, export ready to use HTML
SYNCHRONIZE and work on the same site BOTH on your iPad and Macbook..
its NOT for building advanced pages, but for simple easy what you see is what you get page creation. price is right frankly Im annoyed with some of these meaningless complains and 1 star reviews.. its not deserved.

What happened?
I loved this app..it worked perfectly and served all my needs. Then..all of a sudden…it suddenly does not recognize my ftp address and password and username. I can no longer upload my webpages onto my web server.
I did nothing….I figured it was my iPad so I used my others and this app no longer works.
Too bad…it was a great app…now it’s useless.
I don’t think they’re updating this app anymore.

Unable to find simple instructions for creating hyperlinks or troubleshooting problems (for htmlegg2 for IPad)
I had none of these problems with the original html egg app.
I am trying to update my website that I created using original htmlegg, but this new version that I had to buy again, is not up to par. My web pages were originally on an older iPad. Even if I could import it, this new version is a waste of time. Can someone help me here?Show lessDrivenbyart
Great Possibilities.
This App looks like it has great possibilities. My only problem is that I couldn’t find in instructions to understand how to work with it, and the interface isn’t very intuitive. I was able to draw some shapes in include a picture, but I had a difficult time working the shapes into a webpage. Granted that I’m on my iPad and that a Mac with a traditional mouse and keyboard would probably make this work much better. But, so would a help file or a link in the description in the app store on a video tutorial.
Again, the biggest problem with this app is the user, namely me. But I feel the developer needs to show the UI some love and produce a PDF, video, or some other way for new users to learn how to use this product.Show lessDr. Debugger
Love app; wish someone would take it over and update it
I use this app all the time for my two web sites. I love the interface etc. that said I cross my fingers hoping that nothing stops working. This is the only app on the ipad of this type. I am disappointed that no one else has created a similar app. I wish, wish, wish someone would take over this app and update it. Since now we have the M1 Macs ipad apps can run on the new Macs. Disappointing. Still I would give this app 5 stars. I would love to see better import and export functions.Show lessJohnger1234
Very disappointed
I have used this app since 2013. I had egg Pro on my iPad. My iPad died and I lost my Egg pro app and all files. Only Egg 2 is available and I cannot upload from it. I use it when I travel and now it is useless for me after I purchased it.toosup

Hi there, HTML Egg 2 introduces a new and improved file format. For Egg 1 users, you will still work with the same drag-and-drop editor that you are familiar with. Please note Egg 2 now exports HTML files to the Files app, we know some users are struggling with this change. To help Egg 1 users transition to the new version, we have updated the tutorial section and the FAQs with new content tailored for HTML Egg 2. We hope you will find the new tutorials helpful. I bought this app since it came out, I’ve used it often. Now which a new phone I went to download and it gave me version 2 which has no features. When I clicked restore it would not restore the features. As I said I already bought this app I do t know why they are making me pay again to use it.
I cannot find the original HTML Egg all I find is version 2 - we shouldn’t have to pay for updates.Show lessEDGABA
