Version 1.2.1: Conspicuous Consumption Edition ⁃ Our old branding was conspicuously left in our App Store description. Those responsible have been sacked. ⁃ In an effort to get more reviews and feedback from our customers, we’ve added a review link in our settings page. We used only the finest materials to craft this link. ⁃ Your reviews help us keep making rad for you. We humbly ask for a minute of your time and thank you for your support.

Version 1.0.5: Kidney-Shaped Pool Edition ⁃In an effort to avoid claims of anything but pure excellence, we added the ability to edit category names. ⁃While we do appreciate tight tolerances, it turns out the new Undo button was a little too tight to the edge of the screen on smaller devices. It made us uncomfortable. We remedied this. ⁃When editing categories, there was a bug that caused some lingering trash cans. We prefer our trash cans to be tucked out of the way. Thus they now are.

Version 1.0.4: Reversal of Fortune Edition ⁃ We changed the name back because it had no effect on sales and we prefer the name “Filthy Rich.” It’s 100% filthier and 100% richer. ⁃ Due to popular demand, we have added undo to the non-pro version. History remains a Pro-Only feature, however. Now, when things get difficult, you can simply undo them, just like in real life. ⁃ We need more feedback from customers. We want to know how it’s working for you, how it’s not working for you and how we can improve. Email us: support@filthyrichapp.com ⁃ That’s it for now. We hope you love our app and methodology as much as we do. It’s changed our lives and we hope it does for you too. Peace.

Version 1.0.1: Manservant Edition •Turns out that when you’re trying to sell a piece of software, it makes it very difficult to do so when tapping the subscription button has the effect of crashing said software. We have fixed this problem. Those responsible have been sacked. •On the bright side, we’ve managed to add a small feature. Let’s call it a “gesture” of good will. When you swipe right on the amount field in the Add Income screen, you can bring up previously entered values. •There were some pesky little bugs of a small, innocuous variety. You hardly would have even noticed them. They have been eradicated.

Description of Filthy Rich Budgeting

Spending less and saving more of your money empowers you. That money multiplies and over time you build wealth. Filthy Rich can help you spend less. And it’s more than just an app—it’s a way of thinking about money and spending. Have you ever used an app that tried to automate budgeting by importing your bank transactions? Did you stick to your budget? Yeah, neither did we. When your budget is automated, it is out of sight and out of mind. When we built Filthy Rich and tracked our own spending, we actually stuck to it and spent less! It works!! Some apps take a similar approach to Filthy Rich but they are so clunky and complicated it takes 20 seconds to do something that should take 2. That really impacts your ability to change behavior! We found: 1) you have to manage the budget to stick to it 2) if it's hard to manage, you’ll get frustrated and stop. Filthy Rich focuses on speed and ease! Filthy Rich has several options for quickly recording spending: - You can view your top 3 categories with amounts left right on your Apple Watch face. - Tap your budget on the Apple Watch face to choose a category and type an amount to record a spend. Take 3 seconds! - Say “Hey Siri, create a note in Filthy Rich saying $30 in gas.” With a budget-conscious Pro subscription, you also get these very handy features: - Sync with a partner. This even works offline! Record a spend in the middle of nowhere and it’ll sync once you come back to civilization. - Undo anything. - Location tracking. Totally optional, but we find it helps us remember where we were when we recorded a spend. - Just need to start over? Clean slate lets you reset all your categories to zero and start fresh. Oh and don’t forget these hidden gems: - Once you’ve added income and adjusted a budget once, you don’t need to remember again just swipe right on the input field and it’ll auto fill with the last amount you used. Nifty! - Entered the wrong income? Just tap the “x” and it’ll rewind your budget to right before you added it. Reviews of Filthy Rich Budgeting

  • I would give this 0 stars

    Yuck
  • Great concept, tad clunky!

My favorite thing about this app is that it’s not linked to my bank. I don’t have to categorize purchases or try to figure out what happened when someone paid me back for lunch with Venmo. I budget my bills and subscriptions out in Excel, but this app lets me budget my spending money. Instead of having a line item for coffee, and the nail salon, and everything else I can lump it all together in the budget and then track the spending here. The interface is a bit buggy, I had trouble deleting categories, and there is no back or undo button, but this is an easy way to track how you spend. I wish it was easier to change the income amount or a line item amount, but not clean slate the whole budget. I do like how easy it is the move money between items.
  • Great new app! Needs some work.

I just started using nimble and I’m really enjoying it so far. Creating a budget has never been easier and the app’s design is beautiful! There are a few bugs that need to be worked out, and once they’re improved, I’ll happily change my rating. Keep up the great work!

    Issues:
    - The “edit categories” button is all the way at the bottom of the page. I wish it was located near the top as well or even in the tool bar near the strings icon.

    - I wish there was a way to easily edit a group’s name. My current way around this is to create an entirely new group and drag all of my categories to the new group. Not impossible, but a little cumbersome.

    - When I go to edit a budget category, sometimes the delete button is too far left and the app won’t register the click and think I’m trying to rename the category instead.

    - Sometimes the budget amounts glitch when the app page changes (for example, to and from edit categories page and the normal dashboard) and leaves some of the category amounts invisible.

    - Lastly, the way to change a category’s budgeted amount feels a little clunky. When I go to change the amount, I expect for the new amount I type in to become the new budgeted amount. Instead, it either adds or subtracts the newly typed amount to the previous budgeted amount depending on if I press the “+” or “-“ icons. It takes some getting used to and isn’t impossible to navigate, but it would be nice if the process of editing an category amount felt a little more intuitive.

    Developer Response

We’ve added the ability to edit a groups name! Thanks for the feedback. We’re taking a look at your other items.
