Description of OSAEMR

OSAEMR is a standalone Anesthesia Electronic Medical Record that works on the iPad. It allows CRNAs and other anesthesia providers (anesthesiologists, Oral Surgeons, Veterinarians) to digitally record their anesthetics. No internet connection is needed, although additional features (such as in-app text messaging and uploading of completed PDFs) are enabled if it is available. OSAEMR covers the entire anesthetic experience, from initial patient workup to documenting the anesthetic, printing out reports, and submission of billing and quality data. Excellent resource for solo- and small-practice CRNAs as well as students and Sim labs.

Reviews of OSAEMR

  • Love that its free! Needs a few tweaks tho

I love that this is a free service. Thank you for that. I wish we actually could deleted or archive drugs. As a dentist I don’t need 90% of the drugs listed and the workflow is significantly slowed down by scrolling through too many drugs or other options. I’d like to be able to remove many items to simplify it. Make them archivable instead of deleting if that an issue. The large variety of blocks and procedures aren’t relevant so I’d like to hide them.

Also the app tends to crash very frequently on an iPad Pro. I just started using this so I don’t know if this is a repeat issue or not.

Lastly the text messaging doesnt work, but that’s not a big deal.

    Thank you!
  • A Quality App

This is a quality anesthesia EMR and the developers could easily charge for it - it’s perfect for smaller anesthesiology practices, or groups that maintain an office-based practice.
  • Awesome easy to use

This is a fabulous user friendly app. I highly recommend
