Way too many ads

I have enjoyed playing this game for a few years, along with other games by Easybrain, on a daily basis. There were always a few ads which was acceptable but lately the amount of ads has substantially increased to a point where the game is now unplayable for me. I have 3 Easybrain games which I am now going to delete and look for alternatives as I cannot stand being bombarded with adds. It’s absolutely ridiculous and such a shame.
I have now deleted this game. Not only were the ads an issue but it just became impossible to play. Ridiculously slow which often resulted in blocks dropping into places they were not meant to. My patience simply ran out. Such a shame as I had played it for quite some time.

Really a Four and a Half

Love this game, I find it soothing to play while still challenging and it’s one of the few games I can play while still being able to listen properly to a podcast. Just engages the brain in a different way and I love it. Would be a slightly more enthusiastic review if they could just add an undo button for that moment when you stumble your orangutang fingers and drop the block somewhere other than where your monkey brain intended.

Love it

I really like this game! It’s really fun and cool. But if you go into the block puzzle mode there is only one option and then you can’t move on. I recommend that they should add more block puzzles but overall it is an awesome game. 😄

Used to be my favorite

This app, for many many years, was my favorite app on my phone. I originally downloaded it based on an ad, and it was really fun. I played frequently on and off for a good deal of time. Since it was so chill, I often played before bed to fall asleep, or when I was anxious or stressed in order to relax. To call it a comfort game would be an understatement. I know that’s a lot of care to put into a game that’s so simple, but sometimes it’s just the little things that make us happy. Unfortunately, very recently they completely removed the wooden theme, which is much easier on the eyes. I have light sensitive eyes so this was a deal breaker for me, and it was super devastating. I reached out to support and they told me that the theme was gone and would not be coming back. Unfortunately because of this, I’ve gotta rate it lower. This was my comfort game and now it hurts my eyes super bad, so that was sad. :(

EDIT POST DEV RESPONSE: If the game ever releases a theme that makes the game playable for me again, I will HAPPILY rewrite my review accordingly. Like I said this was a huge comfort game to me, and it would be again if I could play it comfortably!

Ok but….

The game is a fairly simple game . lots of reviews have said oh it’s great or oh it’s boring but I’ll actually try to explain my view of this game. CONS 1) this game is simple and they should lower the age limit as there is no offence or influence that could be harmful 2) I understand that you are trying to make this game free but to make it better can you lower the amount of ads and make more banners instead 3) just an idea could you make it so you can add friends and they can see your score PROS 1) it is easy to play and if you are bored or want something to do as it uses time 2) it is easy to get addicted to 3) you can compare your scores with your friends and family So I think this game is worth trying to see if it is for you it isn’t for me but as you can see there is an equal amount of pros and cons this is my opinion yours may be different!!!

Great game

I love the game and I always have it on dark mode but when I went into blockadu it changed into light mode and I can't change it back to dark mode the reason I had dark mode on is because light mode hurts my eyes and I've always had dark mode on and I'm used to it but I'm not used to having light mode on.

If there was an update or something that you changed it so that we can't change it to light mode or dark mode please change it so we have the option.

Removal of Wood effect

I love this game. It was my go to evening game to calm down and get over the day. In their infinite wisdom, the new update has removed the option to change to the wood colour scheme eliminating the issues of a white background with blue blocks (ie affecting your circadian rhythm, affecting alertness and heart rate). Limiting blue lighting from electronic devices in the evening mitigates affects on sleep. The developers responded to my ticket by saying not many people used that feature and they don’t intend to do anything about it. So yeah, not going to be playing this anymore. Thanks very much - I’d paid for the ad-free version - the preview pictures suggest there are lots of different block puzzles (the triangle - it’s just that one level and it doesn’t change). It’s funny they said that not many people use the wood theme when there’s lots of reviews asking why they’ve removed the function!

Good games, awful ads

Really enjoy the games. And don’t mind most of the ads. One advert called Fun Games will not allow you to exit and instead sends you to a stream of other ads. Sending feedback seems to do nothing. The only way to get back to Blockaduko is to power off my device and start up again. Very frustrating when in the middle of a game.

Very relaxing, would recommend :)

This game is very calming with few ads and sometimes there are special event games that are harder but more fun. Also if you turn on a special mode in settings the app will judge your moves so that you can get better at your technique, otherwise you are free to place the blocks wherever you choose. One tip I would recommend is to connect headphones and play music so that it sets more to your mood. Others great game would recommend.

Good luck here

Sadly while this is a good fun game it’s spoiled by being a game of luck, there is next to no skills required, along with this it’s has way to many advertisements so is basically a revenue collector which is very disappointing from a quality’s producers like Easy brain
