Never accurate
I bought the device and loaded the app and it was consistantly wrong, like by a lot. The temp was off, PH Balance, Chlorine levels, everything. I emailed support with no reply, so no good service either. I'd avoid. I had the Phin which was great but they went out of business.TonkaTechie

I just started using the app and device today. First impressions are favorable. I would like to see a watch app and HomeKit or Alexa compatibility.Capsfan16
Nice app but one request…
App works well, but could you please add the capability to Let me choose what PH that I prefer? For example I like mine a little lower than 7.4 so that the chlorine works better. If I could do this then it would only warn me when it was outside of my preferred range.Speedybits

We are very satisfied with this product and the peace of mind knowing the water is safe for swimming. It is right at your fingertips and you can see your pools PH LEVEL, water level, temperature, and sanitizing level. You know right away if your pool needs to be shocked or acid added to your pool. We have a saltwater pool. It's real-time without running to the pool store with a sample. You can see the effects of the weather and people swimming in your people. You can easily keep it perfectly balanced. No more algae in your pool. You feel confident anytime someone wants to jump in your pool it is safe and clean! I look at it every day and have made maintaining the pool so much easier. It has an easy red, yellow, and green system to visually see if your pool is balanced. If someone doesn't have the app they can stand on the device at the skimmer for a color reading of the pool chemistry.
The power comes from solar power at the skimmer. It can also be charged by a USB port. It works off of Bluetooth from your home internet wifi. Making life easier
By far the best bang for the buck I’ve spent on our pool yet. We added the Keto device right after fully refinishing our pool and it’s been great. Makes keeping track of the main items of PH and Sanitzer a breeze. Best water quality we have had yet. Literally have the info anytime I want in my hand thanks to the app. It’s helpful with alerts if we get busy with “life” and I’m sold. Accurate water chemistry
I travel a lot for work and the Device allows me to monitor the water wherever I am. If the chemistry is off, I can ask someone at home to add sanitizer or acid to bring the water back in balance. Gone are the days where I get home to a pool with algae.
Do you use tri-chlor tabs. If so, did you know tri-chlor will eventually raise the stabilizer level in your pool to an unsafe level. And the high level also significantly impacts the effectiveness of your sanitizer. Your typical strips and test kits don't tell you how effective your chlorine is, but Plainck and the app do. So my sanitizer no longer falls below an unsafe level.
Like some people, I was skeptical about the accuracy of the device. So I have double checked ph and sanitizer (using the chlorine results with another app) to see how accurate it is. And it’s spot on.
Glad I purchased the device. Easier and more accurate pool chemistry.

No more worrying!!
Plainck has given me peace of mind from the worry of having my small kids swim in unsafe water. I have instant access to my pool water cleanliness and pH levels from the phone app anytime I want to ease my mind. The app also sends me push notifications when the sanitizer level is low or my pH is out of the acceptable range so I can add chemicals. No more guessing which shade of colour is on the test strip, and no more chemistry experiments as with using drop test kits. Plainck provides a number to the decimal point so there’s no confusion.
Added bonus, the app also tells you water level and temperature. When I was previously on vacation, the app notified me that my water level was low. I then knew to ask my neighbor to top up my pool so my pump would not run dry. Possibly saved me hundreds on a new pump!!
Highly recommend this product as it eliminates the chore of testing your pool water every week, and most importantly it eliminates the uncertainty of your pool’s safety!!Show lessKeanu R.
Game Changer in Pool Management
The keto device and phone application make pool management a breeze, not to mention the money I’ve saved. I no longer need a pool service company to ensure my pool is balanced and clean. I get real time data direct to my phone any time I want for ph, water level, temp, ORP, etc. And, if I forget to check the app, no worries, it sends a notification to let me know I need to take action.
