  • Great Solution/Option for Small Business

    We run a small restaurant that is only offering takeout and delivery at this time. Customers that want to place orders at our location do so on their own via our kiosk setup.

    We have been using KioskBuddy since March 2021. We run the kiosk app on a large ipad where customers can place their own orders and make their own credit card payment. The payment setup is seamless as it works via Square software and card reader.

    The interface is clean and easy to use for customers. We are able to provide our full menu and all the modifiers customers like. It enables us to be cash free and not have to worry about needing extra staff to take orders.

    Recommended items to start your setup; ipad (larger the better), Square (credit card processing account), Square card reader, ipad case wall mount arm ipad (Maclocks has some decent options that reduce theft), strong double sided tape (attach credit card reader to ipad case).

    We are able to update the menu and settings online via a web portal and those settings are pushed to the kiosk app remotely. For a business owner you can update your menu on the fly when you are out of town. I really like the software and think it has great potential for many different setups.

    Best of all it’s a great overall solution that is simple and affordable for a small business to scale.

  • Great Addition to Our Business!

    KioskBuddy has been a marvelous addition to our business. Partnering in such a wonderful way with Square, which we use for everything in our business, this system was able to be up and running in less than an hour for its operation and you can customize it to match the look and feel of your business. This has helped our operations out immensely, especially in times where we have not been able to fill open job positions. Little to no technical experience is required, but even if you do get hung up on something - their Customer Support is so friendly, responsive, and is ALWAYS open to suggestions, which I find helpful in case it is something that could be developed into the system. I definitely recommend this to your business!

  • Great App, Great Customer Service

    We’ve been utilizing the v3 beta in one of our stores. Even the beta version is well-built and has little to no bugs in the software.

    Marvin is always very quick to send detailed responses to help us with any issues we have. This app has been a major technological development to our restaurant and we will continue to implement this software as we’re scaling our business.
