I downloaded it for YouTube but you have to be in the app to switch it on

Yes, you need to open the app to switch it on. Apple doesnt allow to open different app from another.Child lock
So simple to use even a child can do it!Wwmjr

Tried using this to clean my screen with a dark background. While cleaning it kept waking up from locked mode by only swiping a cloth across the screen.GmLecarre

Hi. Thanks for feedback. Did you switch "Guided access" mode before locking the screen? If not, this is not according to instructions and for sure doesn't work. "Guided access" mode needs to be switched on to make this app work as well.
