Only option for overseas
This app is the only option you have unless you VPN in. I have a lifetime sub, and live abroad and recently SXM started geofencing. I just wish this app would buffer a little better; too many hiccups (every 78 seconds!) but far better than nothing!
New update of SiriusXM interface, brakes, star player app
I am giving this a five star rating because of the way it used to work prior to December 14 of 2023. Serious new interface has broken this app. I hope Todd Bruss can do some repair as quickly as possible. It used to be a great app. Hopefully it can be in the future.
Found this app by Accident
Found this app after SiriusXM app won’t load after numerous update with a black screen. Worth the price to get it back up and running. Like the simplicity of the app easier to find newer stations didn’t know existed.
Deserves 5 stars, but there is an issue.
For a user of VoiceOver screen reader on the iPhone/iPad, StarplayrX is fabulous, almost. There are pauses that I suspect is buffering between it and SiriusXM during MLB games that is rather annoying. It is almost like hiccups. The same stream on SiriusXM does not hiccup. This was true wiht the Yankees/Mariners game on Wednesday afternoon. I tried reaching the developers web site and got a 521 error, host not returning a connection every day since Wednesday. otherwise, this app would get 5 stars.

Fabulous app.
This app is fantastic. It is esy to use and less cluttered than SiriusXM's app. I hope that at some point Xtra Channels and podcasts are included becausethat's the one thing missing.

Thank you for this pathway to get my new Sirius XM USA account (actually thanks to the Sirius XM USA registration webpage to suggest a valid USA address to complete my Sirius XM USA registration) to stream on my iPhone that is locked into the Canadian App Store. It’s important we Canucks can access the USA channels. The CRTC in Canada only wants Canadians to listen to censored Canadian news channels. So again, your service is really needed and I thank you.
