  • Doesn't work

I like their headphones but the app just plain old doesn't work. This company could go far if they'd nail this app down well.
  • Headphones are decent but the app is the worst I’ve ever used.

The app is total garbage. For the last few days I haven’t even been able to get it past the home screen, that’s to say it won’t even open. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, there was no effect whatsoever. When the app did open, it had little to zero functionality. The in-app adjustments to the sound of the headphones had zero noticeable impact. No multi-band equalizer or anything of that nature. There’s a “find my headphones” function which is a great idea, it’s supposed to cause the headphones to beep loudly until you find them. I tried this function several times and could never make it work. Also, the app itself is just plain glitchy; it turns itself off for no reason, and it repeatedly resets any customization that the user makes to headphone control. For example, the default setting makes it so when you tap the right earbud the volume goes up, and the left one will turn it down. I turn this off, because I’m constantly adjusting the way they fit in my ears, and this causes the volume to go up and down constantly. So I shut this off, but ten minutes later, the app has everything set to the default (very poorly thought out) settings. This is all a shame, because the headphones (earbuds, whatever you call them) themselves sound great, and the batteries last forever. The charging case that they come with is cool as hell, and you can get 24 hours of use out of them before you need to recharge them and the case. Also, they charge surprisingly fast. And if I wear them under a hat, I have very few problems with them falling out. So, the hardware is excellent, but the software is just absolute garbage. It’s like they gave the project to an intern who put 5 or 6 hours into it, and then the company simply forgot that they have app or something. If they would build a half-decent app for these I’d be raving about the product. Instead, they built an excellent product and then ruined it with a garbage app that I currently can’t even open on my iPhone 8. Come on guys, put a couple of decent coders and designers on this project, and turn these headphones into the quality product that they deserve to be.
