* You can now create and swipe between multiple drawers. * You can add custom line items for all kinds of things like checks, or adding/removing cash from the till. * The count by weight feature is easier to find (when available, it's in the keyboard) * Added more color theming options as well as a solid option for the stoics among you * redesigned the preferences menu. It's way nicer now if I do say so myself. Behind the scenes, we rewrote the entire app from the ground up in React Native. We intentionally kept the iconic look and feel, but literally there is not a single line of code left over from Tilly Tally v1. For the computer nerds: v1 was written in vue.js and packaged as a web app with capacitor. That worked for our purposes at the time, but we decided to move to React Native for v2. React Native gives us a lot of really nice things for free, like smoother animation, native frame rates, much more community support and overall reliability. From your perspective, the app should feel just a little more snappier.

A few years ago I worked as a barista at a local coffeeshop. At the time, I noticed that there wasn't really a cash counting app that had all the features I needed. So my friend and I made this one. Features: * It's free * Count coins, coin rolls, bills, and bill bundles * USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD, ALL, BSD, BRL, INR, ZAR and more on the way. * Count currency by weight (for USD, EUR, GBP, CAD, AUD) * Personalize the background color * Custom line items for things like checks, or adding/removing cash from the till * Simple and beautiful design * Create and swipe between multiple drawers * I put a little ad bar on the bottom to make me some money. I hate annoying ads, so that's the only forced ad in this app. I don't think it's too bad. * You can remove the ad permanently with an app purchase, or temporarily by watching a rewarded video ad.

    This is the best app for counting cash. The landscape mode now working again, excellent for Square stand. Everyone with a Square stand and using a cash register should use this app.

  • Update does not rotate on ipad new version

    We use this app in conjunction with our POS on our ipad and we were happy with the previous version but the new one does not rotate automatically on the ipad making it useless - unless you like tilting your head

  • Ads became too much

    I’ve used this app for years and have never minded the simple banner ads. But having 30 seconds, full screen unskippable ads was too much for me. I understand you have to make some profit off these kinds of apps but the changes to ads made me immediately delete the app. The new update seems like it’s probably for the best but I’m not sure. Not going to bother seeing the new functions with ads like that
