Description of GLASSES

The quickest and most easy to use reading aid magnifier available, with a clean and clear user interface. No annoying ads. Clean functional user interface makes Glasses a joy to use. Never forget your spare reading glasses - use Glasses right there on your phone all the time. If you do forget your reading glasses, or just need a little help reading that small medicine bottle, or dimly lit restaurant menu, then GLASSES is for you. Flip to the front camera and you have a handy makeup mirror always at the ready too. If you're already having trouble reading then you need as few steps as possible and with BIG clear buttons, GLASSES is designed for you. Some say "Why not just use the built in camera?" Well: With GLASSES you are immediately seeing at 2x zoom with just the ONE tap that opens the app. To use the Camera app with light you open the app, swipe to video mode, zoom the display, tap the light options, turn the light on - that's at least five taps/swipes all while using a more complex interface with small buttons, if you can even work out how to do it! And one thing the built in camera cannot do is zoom the front camera/mirror view - GLASSES can.

  • Contact users this app is your friend!

I was hoping to find an app so I do t carry glasses with me. When my contact decided to find a different place other than my eye ball, I found this app. Super happy!

    Developer Response

Thanks for the feedback, great to hear that Glasses has helped you out.
  • Great app!

It doesn’t Zoom, but with 3 levels of magnification I don’t miss zoom at all. Clear images, easy to use. What’s not to like?

    Developer Response

Thank you for the great feedback!
  • Convenience when you really need it

I’ve been extremely nearsighted since I was a kid; I crossed the line for “legally blind” a long time ago. Since it’s correctable with glasses or contacts, it doesn't usually impact life very much, but there are rare moments that leave me feeling, well, blind.
These are times like when I set my glasses on the nightstand and hear them fall off and bounce under the bed. When I hear a noise in the night and reach for my glasses, only to knock them halfway across the room. When I drop a contact lens and can’t find it where it should have landed.
The Glasses app is perfect in these situations. Instant visual acuity, and one-tap illumination. While you can achieve a similar effect with the built-in Camera app, it’s a multi-step process. Although that might sound like a minor inconvenience, it seems like an eternity when I’m feeling handicapped and vulnerable. To me, being able to avoid that feeling is worth far more than the price of this app.
