Great app for home workouts

[Update 1]
Great companion to workout with my Bowflex C6. Took some figuring out, but once you know what the colors and the graphics mean in each workout, it’s great to workout at home. You can connect to the bike’s system to see RPM/Cadence in the app and separately to Bowflex bike’s forearm HR monitor to see your heart rate in the app while working out.

And I can confirm that it also works with 3rd party music apps and not just Spotify (the app has some sort of native Spotify integration, which I guess plays music that syncs to the effort needed for the workout). Specifically I used it with Jio Saavn without any issues. If you allow it access to your Spotify (even a free account) the workouts sync well with the playlist, including some that count down before Tabata rest and pick up to the upbeat music before Tabata effort (Nice!)

If you allow it to connect to Strava when it asks the first time it will sync properly. If you give it access later it will only start syncing new workouts. I guess the app itself is not natively maintaining any history.

The app itself doesn’t connect to Apple Health. However if you connect your Strava account, then IC app will sync with Strava, which then can push to Apple Health (provided you give it the access it wants). Roundabout, but at least it works.

Kudos to the Intelligent Cycling team for putting together this awesome app.

Dear Bhatmann Thank you for this great review in details! It makes us very proud. We will do our best to continue our development with new features to make it even better. Next up will be our own "in app" summary and history of your workout data! /Team IC

Amazing app!

We now have access to so many indoor cycling apps, but I wouldn’t use any except for this one. It is so easy to use, as a rider and for creating my own profiles in Session Designer. As an instructor, it makes my job so much easier, by cutting down the time it takes to create a profile. As a rider, there are so many thousands of rides to choose from. No matter what kind of ride I’m in the mood for, I’ll find it there! And the folks in my classes appreciate having those well-crafted rides at their fingertips too!

Fantastic tool

Super easy to use if you want to follow a ride and an incredible tool for instructors to create and store their class profile library. Allows you to sync profiles with Spotify playlists. You can add cues. With a single click you can change your profile from displaying power to heart rate to RPE. There is nothing else like it on the market that would be so user friendly.

The unsung hero

This application has a top of the line line of workouts. With Zwift you can do 100 miles and also with this great app. I have not one negative thing to say. Works with FITBIT, STRAVA, WAHOO APPLE Products.

Recommend to all!!!

Great App For Home Spin

This is my favourite app for spinning at home. I hate riding alongside virtual cyclist’s in programs such as Zwift, much prefer the chart option such as this. The Spotify playlists work great with the programs. The use of colours, the advanced warning as to what is coming up next is great, and once you know your FTP score (which it can do) the workouts are even more fun. I use this with my Keiser M3i bike. Knocked one star off as at the moment it’s not saving history of Ride (iphone 12 pro) although I have been assured its being worked on. Thanks guys

Hi Thank you for taking time to create a review. The issue with Spotify should be fixed the 16th September (mid last week). Regards the IC Team.

Best app

This app is so good. Easy to understand and great workouts. I use my own music and have done 4 classes now and love it. Well done. Best free app EVER

Thanks a lot :) /Brian

Preposterous slow sign up just to use spin bike👎🏻

To attend a spin class, compare this with Watt Bike and Keiser bikes, which is:
A) Get on bike and use great app on bike
Vs This dumb app:
1. Download this bloated clunky crap app on mobile in gym (IF gym gives you good wi fi or-use your own data allowance for your 3/4/5g access!)
2. Sign up with email.
3. Go to your email app to confirm email.
4. Go back to this crap app and sign up.
5. Use crap app on your mobile.
6. Note how crap app looks old and does not show Watts, heart rate, pedal efficiency.

This app is for gyms who want to employ untrained instructors to use their sw and poor system for classes and capture email and personal data of all users of the class.
Real old school - as user friendly and welcome as those annoying apps that you have to use to pay to use different car parks.

Hi Bardcountry Thank you for taking your time to make a review. We are sorry that you do not like our app. Your review came in March 7th and we launched a new version of the app just 5 days later with the following updates: 1) Easier to download 2) You do not need to confirm your email to login (you will have 2 weeks to do that) 3) We added connectivity so you can connect heart rate, power and cadence. Once again, thanks for taking your time to give feeback. Stay Safe.
