Phattt
No idea how close to the original it sounds, but been loving it for bass. Phat analog sound. Great freebie.
Hoping the dev will release more synths in the future. No sound on iPad Air 4
I thought it was a joke about soviet reliability, but then I see on YouTube that this appears to make sound. All of my other synth apps play just fine, but not this one.Great little synth
Really cool little synth. It has a pretty raw sound which is great. One thing I’d love to see is some sort of description around the knobs so you know what turning them does. Some are clearly percentages, but some appear to be changing the waveform and having that either in the app or somewhere as a reference would be cool. Either way, it’s a great free synth and it’s fun to play with the knobs and see what sounds it can make. Thank you for such a great app!Show lessPersonal Favorite
This is one of my favorite synth apps in the App Store. It is totally unique, sounds great, and is extremely simple to use.Developer Response
Thank you!Review
Not working, no sound on my 10.5” iPad Pro with iOS 14.6. Deleted it and install it again, no sound.Developer Response
Hello! Sorry for disappointing you. Are you sure the sound is not turned off in the ios control center? Will investigate the problem. Thanks.Great Little Synth
It’s free and AUv. I’ve got some seriously deep sub bass out of it which really beefs up my other bass instruments in the mix. I’m impressed.Developer Response
Thanks! Great!Great start but......
Pros -
Sounds great!
Free!!!!
AU support
Light on CPU
MIDI
You can save presets in stand alone mode
Cons -
This is really the only con for me but unfortunately it’s a pretty big one. I made several really nice patches and saved them.....in stand alone mode. Using the synth in AUM as an audio unit means I cannot recall any of my presets (or the three from the dev).
Only 3 factory presets (not really an issue for me but if you don’t like making them or don’t know how then this will be an issue for you.
I really hope the dev fixes the preset recall issue because I like this little synth very much! Keeping my fingers crossed for a fix at which time I will gladly update this review.Show lessDeveloper Response
Hello! Thanks for the reaction. Will try to make presets from standalone mode available inside DAWs in the next release.AUv3 now working
AUv3 showing up in Cubasis..👍
Would be great if the presets were visible in AUv3 mode.?
When "filter Resonance is turned fully right" can cause loud feedback??
It's free! So I am not complaining...🙏
Thank you..🙏🙏Great, weird and dangerous - now AU!
I loved the very, er... distinctive... sound of this when it first came out, but it languished unused due to lack of connectivity. Now with AU (and the option to save presets inside AUM), it suddenly becomes useful. It really sounds like no other synth out there, and the filter on it is wicked fierce - could show the legendary MS20 a thing or two. Use with caution. (I’m putting a limiter on any channel I put it in). But if you want something which positively screams, and have a hankering after old school Tarkovsky sci fi soundtracks, from a synth which really has a sound all its own, give it a whirl.Show lessNow AUv3!
Awesome synth made more awesome! Thanks dev!Developer Response
