Introducing: New spot library, Web maps, Member maps. • New spot library: Starting today we’re supporting emoji-language instead of our own iconography on spots. We believe this makes maps easier to understand. This means all of your maps will look a bit different from this release. It also means we’re expanding the Stigen spot library with another 80 (!) NEW spot types bringing the total to over 150. Big thanks to Openmoji for their hard work in designing this open source library. • Web maps 0.1: You can now share maps to people without the Stigen app. With our new web maps, your map link will open on the web if visitors don’t have the iOS app. What we’re supporting in 0.1: View maps, see comments, enter password. • Member maps: Finally, invite your people to private maps! Plan that road trip, company offsite, create a map for neighbours ONLY, or just keep it in the family. How it works: Set a password for your maps and share the link (and password) with friends. Those who unlock your map with the password shows up in the Member list. Web visits will show as “web visit”. • iOS 13 related bugfixes.

Follow maps you like (both others and your own) to see when new spots are added or someone leaves a comment. 4 new spot types! Dog, Road, Bridge, and Tunnel. Can’t find the spot type you’re looking for? Let us know by leaving a comment in the community map! You can find it in the right most tab. You can now add a photo to your map descriptions, just like in comments. Quicker image uploads. Clicking a phone number in a comment or map description now lets you call immediately. If any information is missing or invalid when logging in or creating a new account, the affected text field is now clearly marked.
