Disappointed

One could do much better by colorizing by hand.

Extremely Poor

Not sure what algorithms they're using but sites like MyHeritage do a significantly better job than this app. Very poor colorization processing and difficult to reset. Definitely needs some work before it's worth $18. Wish I could get a refund.

Awesome...but expected

I have MetaImage, worked with the developer during his early releases with feedback (very responsive!), and was delighted to have discovered this app was his as well! Immediately bought it. It works absolute wonders...easily...with just the right amount of adjusters.

Feedback: Consider making adjustments (for a single image from a group of similar images) a Preset the user can create, then apply instantly to a batch of photos (...like in MetaImage).

Overpriced and inefficient

The system is simple enough, but colouring happens by chance rather than reliably. For example hands and ears often retain their BW colour. Only about 10% of photographs turn out halfway decent.
I am very disappointed. Do not buy!

In version 2, we’ve made significant improvements to the accuracy of colorization, especially for areas like hands and ears. While no automated system is perfect, we are constantly refining the technology to provide more reliable results.

A Fantastic App

I have a lot of old pictures that I have worked on in Photoshop, Photois and Luminar and I can't believe how well PhotosRevive does in colorizing the old black and white pictures. Not perfect, but excellent for skin colour and vegitation. Take the result into Pixelmator or Luminar and mask and paint the imperfections and add a new sky.
I must say however, most of the converted images with PhotsRevive stand alone.

Indications Adjustments Dont Work

The idea of this application is magical, but the ability to adjust the color doesn't function very well.
