Helped me so much!

I used to be so afraid of flying, I’d avoid traveling by plane as much as possible, and if I had to do it I would only take the shortest journeys and I’d still sit there gripping the seat counting down minutes until we land. I’ve been trying to get over my fear for a while and I can notice a huge difference since I tried this app. I can see my fear more objectively, I am much more relaxed in the plane and can enjoy the journey. My favorite part is the “flight stages” section, I download these before the flight and listen to them as I go through the stages myself. The relaxing voice recordings help calm you down and the content talks you through what’s happening. The take off is by far the worst part of the flight for me so I listen to the recording the whole time and it helps so much.
I haven’t done the course yet but I would like to in the future because I found all the other content so far really helpful and relatable. I saw other people felt like the app was mocking their fear but to me it is very reassuring and understanding with some reality checks here and there that I personally need.
I would definitely recommend at least doing a trial (if it’s available) with one flight and seeing if it can help you as much as it did me. My fear of flying is far from gone but over time I hope I can get there and this app definitely played a big role in that, so thank you!

The best!

Without a doubt, the best investment I've made in years! Especially the Fear of Flying video course. This app was an absolute game-changer in helping me overcome my fear of flying.
Not only has it equipped me with invaluable knowledge, but it has also unlocked countless opportunities for me. I regret not finding it earlier!
A huge thank you to the developers and the entire team behind this app for their incredible help and support. Highly recommended!

… not what I expected

After flying my whole life I became an anxious flyer in 2018, now making my life unbearable since I have to fly as a commute. I downloaded the app due to its great reviews and download the first audio, during which I’m told my fear is “lame”, experts know what they’re doing and “let aviation do its job” because “after 120 years, people know what they’re doing.” While that may be rationally true, a) I didn’t come here to be insulted and b) that seems to misrepresent what anxiety actually is. If this wasn’t the intention, maybe rewrite.

We are sorry you’ve got this feeling . We suggest to complete learning all the materials the app provides so the whole picture will be wider and more clear. We know exactly that anxiety has a little to do with rational thinking and therefore Flight Buddy provides a lot of information and exercises to address a problem on an emotional level as well as on a rational side.

App has been broken for months.

I feel ripped off. I paid for a year. I would like my money back.

I’d really love to know what exactly is broken for months , as this app used hundreds of times daily without any problems by thousand of fearful fliers .if there is a specific problem - I’ll be happy to help. Also, please note - you can always claim a refund using apple’s “report a problem” link on your invoice .

Disappointed

Southwest Airlines flights are not supported with this app. I emailed customer support for help and got no response(twice). Paying for an entire year subscription was a waste of money.

Sorry for your experience. Please let me know to bezfobiy@gmail.com what email did you use for customer support - as we never received your request. As to southwest flights - the app supports all scheduled flights worldwide. Please send me also a flight number you've used and I'll check it personally. The last but not the least - loading specific flight is only 2-3% of the functionality of this app. All the voice assistances, exercises and more - work perfectly even if some specific flight could not be loaded for some reason.

It helped me so much!

I just can’t overstate how much this app helped me to fight my fear and anxiety! Omg i think I can say that I enjoyed flying again since long time ago !!! It literally answered all my questions, straightened up my misunderstandings of the processes and just added so much to my knowledge of all the stages of a flight. it all just simply made sense and felt freaking good - I can’t believe it . Last time on a plane I was crying during the take off. This time I knew everything was alright . The language they use on the app, the jokes, the facts , even calming exercises are just on point. I was following each stage of our flight with a specific section on the app and felt like a pro!!(ones again : after crying like a baby last time !!)
Also first I read all the “what ifs” and this on its own made me realize just how silly some of my fears are . Again : so informative , so funny , so on point !!!!!! Thank you , sincerely for those who just made my life easier ( now I tearing up from happiness )
