  • App uses European date nomenclature and fails

The iPhone version of the app uses European date shorthand. When you click on a calendar date while applying for a permit, for example November 12, 2022, it will register as 12/11/22 which is bound to cause confusion in the US. Should be an easy fix. The more serious problem is that when you’ve completed all the information required for the permit application and clicked the “I have read and agree…” box, the “Finish” button won’t submit and you are stuck without a permit. Finally, for burn permits outside city limits there really needs to be a satellite image layer associated with the map. It is challenging to provide the location of the fire when the map is just a blank white screen because there are no paved roads on the property. Another easy fix , but might cost something.
