Reviews of Walk Master

  • Brilliant game, but it has 2 massive flaws

I love this game but it had a flaw I don’t see others talking about. It’s the volcano obstacles. Not only are they way too hard to jump over when there are multiple in a row, but once you do jump over them, I’m always literally falling over because of the jump mechanic turning me over, killing me. My second problem with the game is that the player is way to easy to kill. All it takes is for you to touch something with your player gently and your automatically just dead.

Bonus problem: the stilts. Their just as sensitive as the player which is even more ridiculous. If you graze something bad at all, the stick instantly just flies out of your hand, and your dead.

Anyways, this game really is insanely good, the amount of ads is perfect their not a problem, but the fact the player and their stilts are this easy to kill makes any challenging obstacle go from challenging, to sometimes nearly impossible. Please read this and fix this issue
  • I’m still playing today, and it’s been years

I had the game for a good while, and I just beat trail 500, definitely my go to game when I get bored. It just is very addictive, I saw another review talking about how you can get stuck, but that’s the point of the game lol. You literally just have to get good, it is a bit difficult at first but once you get the hang of the game, then you’re set. It’s smooth sailing from there. In case you’re wondering obviously the levels do repeat, but it’s sections that repeat, not the entire level. Plus there’s more than enough differences that I’m still playing, and I only realized things repeating till I was far past trail 100.

So overall definitely a good game, and I would recommend anyone play it, and not give up right away if you find it difficult. However, I wouldn’t be able to blame you, even I abandoned the game at times. But I always picked it back up.
  • Great Gameplay, with a few cons

love the game, but i have a few issues with it. because of where the control space is, if you have to move the stilts over AND up, it's so easy for this to be registered as swiping up to close the app! then when you reopen the app and hit resume, the game auto-completes your step for you, which I hate. also, sometimes the stilt will "stick" on hay bales and crates. haven't noticed this on any other level theme.

ok so ads. i think the AMOUNT of ads is just fine. an ad between every couple of levels/failures is perfect. no complaints about having to watch an ad to unlock the daily levels, either. the ads that are there are so long and obnoxious, though! who wants an ad that automatically opens the app store for them? i am also, on principle, opposed to ads that force you to play their demo to move forward.
