The last update broke my heart
Recent update has cooked this app. I’ve been trying for a couple of days to redownload the samples but to no avail. Don’t waste your time until this gets rectified.
Great Sound Packs
This App is amazing. It hosts a wonderful collection of sound packs for a multitude of different instrument types. It’s enjoyable to spend the time getting acquainted with the app just by browsing through the presets.

It’s great but...
I love all the different sounds and it’s possibility to be a great module for my keyboard, but for some reason the downloaded additional sounds don’t show up in my list, I’ve tried everything but it doesn’t seem to work.

Unfortunately the update has made the preset list smaller, this due to the on screen keyboard, but if you use it in AUv3 with a midi keyboard there's no point in it being smaller??
And if you do use the on screen keyboard then there's plenty of room to fit it....
Make the preset list bigger as it was originally, some people's eyesight isn't as good as others.....

Impressive Synth....
But, and it’s a big but, it’s just too big to fit on my iPad screen. Think the devs need to shrink it down a tad.

Less than 10 hours after I posted this review, the developer released an update that seems to have fixed almost all of what I mentioned below. Not sure if it was in direct response, but thanks for the fix & quick turnaround. Updating to a four star review & purchasing Bassalicious 2.

I’ll start by saying that I love the sounds in this plugin, however, it doesn’t do me much good because of the bugs and stability issues.
Prior to this most recent update, Pure Synth would work intermittently in BeatMaker 3. On a good day, I could open a project with 2 or 3 instances of Pure Synth and it’d play with no issues, but more often than not the plugin would crash and I’d have to close/open the project until it decided to cooperate.
This most recent update seems to have lessened the amount of crashes, however, there are now two issues: either no sound output from one or more instances of Pure Synth when multiple instances are in one project (synth UI shows the keys are being ‘pressed’, but no sound is coming out), or if the sound does play from an instance, the output is EXTREMELY low (around -33db when volume fader set to 0).
Please fix this. I’d love to pickup Bassalicious 2, but no way I can do it in good conscious with the issues I’ve experience with PSP.
Running this on an 2017 iPad Pro with 512GB storage.

A great addition for the iPad
This is what was missing for the iPad. So many great acoustic sounds now available and it’s AUV3. This company has been putting out amazing products, everything is solid, and useful. The sounds are fantastic and the control of being able to dial-in the exact frequency to the .01 Hz of modulation is sick, that’s with every app. These apps from this company now find their way into every project I create. I couldn’t be happier.

Great sounds, but doesn't display correctly on iPad Pro 11in
Occupies the whole screen area, but for some reason fails to fit it all in, despite tons of available real estate. Without the keyboard displayed (ie just the knobs) you have to scroll up about a centimetre to fit the bottom row of knobs in - and even that is a jerky process. I just don't get it... But, if this is fixed (and preferably the interface rearranged/redesigned), I will probably/hopefully make this 5 stars.

I love this app
Jamal gives another great app to the library!!!! Out the box the sounds great. I’m still learning to customize my sounds, but the factory presets work great. The intro price was a great investment as one who is converting to vat.
