  • Easy to use

App is very easy to use, and so many cool options are provided from a search.
  • So much better than before!

I’ve booked with tourradar many times, but always through the website. I tried the app a couple of years ago and it was very difficult to use.

I tried it again this week and so much easier to use than before, and so much better than the website. Highly recommend!

Thank you! We're working incredibly hard to ensure that TourRadar is the most delightful way to book adventures on your phone. You'll see many more updates coming soon.
  • Update is better

Lots of improvements with the most recent update. However, there needs to be a way to share the tour with another person via text, email, etc. As of now, you have to “download the brochure”, which sends it to your email, then either forward that email to another person or download the brochure from that email, which opens in your browser. Then you have to cancel or “X” out of the download, then copy the url and send *that* to the other person. Crazy.

Thank you! We're delighted that you're enjoying the new update. We now have a new onboarding, home screen, and search experience. Coming up very soon is a brand new tour page, which will have sharing functionality, and more. We hope to see you again when it's live!
  • Travelers Beware

TRAVELERS BEWARE. THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD. THEY SELL YOU A DREAM VACATION AND THAT IS NOT WHAT YOU GET AND TO TOP IT OFF, WE DID NOT FEEL SAFE AND HAD NO COMMUNICATION OR RECOURSE WITH THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY. I have been to over 60 countries and Booking Tours is absolutely the worst company I have ever traveled with. We hired Booking Tours, because as two women traveling in the Middle East, we were concerned about safety. And this company randomly dropped us off to two unidentified men in an unmarked minivan in the middle of the desert that was not on any itinerary other than “transfer”. The following day, we were left at the camp with no information and were expected to wait for a “transfer”. We inquired multiple times about who and when with no response. Again - no communication. Next, we purchased a flight upgrade to replace a 10 hr drive. The flight upgrade did not in fact, get us to our destination any earlier but in fact much later and was not an upgrade at all. We suspect it was a way to compensate again for poor planning and to take more of our money - again no communication. Next, they gave us the incorrect flight info on the itinerary and never corrected it or apologized, and in fact argued it was correct when it was not. Again- poor communication and failure to acknowledge fault Next, we arrived finally at a hotel hours later due to poor planning on the tour company’s part, to a hotel with no toilet paper, clean towels, or plugs/chargers for our phones- absolutely disgusting! How is this acceptable? Time after time, this company refused to acknowledge any problems with their reservations, itinerary, or inability to contact anyone for help. How can a company like this stay in business as it is so unreputable? Their response? We do not use What’s App. We do not monitor message board nights or weekends (which is how we were instructed to communicate). After 5 weeks of attempting to find a resolution, there was none. All they said was “We gave you the services you purchased.” Their customer service is truly the worst I have ever experienced during and after the trip. PLEASE AVOID IS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS, THEY WILL RUIN YOUR VACATION AS THEY DID OURS.

Edit: in response to Tour Radars reply-a year later. We have a string of messages for 5 weeks. After all this happened they continued to back their subcontractor as stated above. Do not believe them. Do not book with them unless you really believe nothing will go wrong. They do not support their customers

  • Ugh

Last update broke the app. There’s absolutely no way to log in to my profile. Shame on you and your developer for the incompetence.

  • Poor navigation

No back button makes it a time waster.
If you look at any tour from a search, you cannot go back to the search list when you’re done viewing the tour. You have to start another search. It really tests your patience.
I thought maybe the experience would be different from iPhone if I tried on my iPad but had the same problem. App is not optimized for iPad either. The readable screen is the same size on the iPad as it is on iPhone.
C’mon, this internet thing isn’t new anymore.

    Developer Response

Thank you for your feedback. We understand your frustration regarding the navigation and optimization issues. Since then, we have rebuilt the app from scratch to resolve these problems. The new version includes improved navigation, including back buttons. We appreciate your patience and hope you find the updated experience much better.
  • Useless navigation

After you’ve spent the time filtering the types of trip, dates and locations, you lose all of this and have to start again if you then select one of the tours to view more information. Surely it just needs a ‘back’ option (like any other app!) and the whole app would work better!
  • Unusable

This app should be removed until you can go back to your search results after clicking on a tour. Without that functionality it’s useless.

    Developer Response

Hi SSnycSF, thank you for your feedback. We are aware of the missing back button and know how frustrating the search experience has to be without it. Our team is working working on a few different improvements at the moment but we're hoping to soon be able to take care of this and create a better experience for all users.
