  • Cash grab

This isn’t a game that warrants a subscription. It cost roughly $9.99 a WEEK. Roughly $40 a month. $480 a year. Just to remove ads and multiply the currency by a few factors.

In regards to gameplay, it’s simple. Not much thinking required and not too much complicated designs. Don’t get me wrong. I love idle games. It gives me a sense of completion when I see what I have built up over time. But there isn’t anything special or technically challenging about this app. Plus the way it’s designed is not that impressive in this day and age. Ten years ago when apps first came out? Hell yes. Now? Not so much when even beginning CS students could create an app that looks halfway decent to this.

But that subscription. Three day free trial only? WEEKLY charge? Come on.

  • Not the Same

I have had this game for months and I absolutely loved it so I had paid to not have adds. Well now with the new update it has a subscription option and now for me to do things in the game I have to watch adds. I should not have to pay a subscription fee after I had already paid to not have adds. I hope that they fix this sometime soon because now I do not want to pay to plat for something that I have already paid for.

  • Good but

I mean it’s good the game is easy and fun to play and all but too much ads I don’t like it because when I in the middle of something it just pops up an add and also the ads are soooooooo glitchy I can’t even exit out of the ad and the ads are too long and yea that’s all
  • Great Game! But...

It’s a great game. I enjoyed playing it when I got it. Everything was fine until I got to Belgium I believe. I can’t go any further because I have to be Level 250. I’ve been playing for 3 weeks now and have gone from Level 200 to Level 219. I really enjoy playing it, but have begun to lose interest in waiting to level up just to play more of the game. I’ll continue to play it in the hopes that I get to Level 250, but I don’t want to have to wait another 3 weeks to go up 10 or 20 levels and still not be able to unlock the rest.

If there’s a reason as to why myself or others have to wait till Level 250, I’d like to know so that I can be a bit more understanding of this. Please let me know and thank you for making a good game!

  • Just a way to view ads

I was able to finish this “idle” game in just a few days. It’s just a way to deliver ads to you, there’s no actual gameplay or strategy. The cities have no relation to the actual cities: there are no named stations, lines are just colors (lost chance to have lines in real colors like in London and NYC), and anyone who has played an idle game like Adventure Capitalist will be pretty dissatisfied. That you need to watch ads to do anything and they also pop up randomly.

  • Resetting Lines

I don’t like the fact that the only way to reset a line is to watch an advertisement. If there was an option to use in-game currency as well, then it wouldn’t be much of an issue. I’d rather have a choice than be forced to sit through multiple ads, back to back. Other than that, the game itself is okay.

  • Solid Repetitive Game

Enjoyed playing the game but quickly learned moving from City to City required no different strategy or patience than the last one. Also disappointed that I reached the end so quickly. It would seem based on game play that adding levels would not require that much work-but then again what do I know.

For all of us that complained about the ads- we are getting to play for free and the developers deserved to be compensated. Our price for the game is dealing with the adds.

Glad I downloaded the game- wish a I found the game a year from now so it would last a little longer and I didn’t have to wait for upgrades.

    Developer Response

Thanks for the solid review/feedback. We are working to add more content! Thanks!
  • Good game

This game is addicting but also very frustrating. I don’t mind that I have to watch an ad to upgrade my subway line at all. What I do mind is that when it says “level 80” required for the next location but then it disappears when I’m close to 80. I’m on level 91 now and it won’t let me go to the next location. So now I can’t even do anything on the game except check in here and there to level up until my next location is available.

  • Levels??

I Just started playing this about a week ago. And now I have to wait for more levels to come out. These unfinished games I don’t like playing because it was fun at first. Now having to wait for an update that’s only going to add an “x” amount of cities.... then ad after ad... There’s no end to it... spent more time watching ads then playing. Won’t be surprised if they force me to watch an ad to get the next update. (Sarcasm for the people that don’t understand it)

  • Great game

Subway idle is super fun... the only comment I would have is that you should have to pay to reset your line not watch an ad but other than that it’s pacing is wonderful and doesn’t take forever like many other idle games
