I always have to use a cord to print. It’s never found on my phone, even when I’ve reconnected it. There’s always an issue and the printer can no longer be detected by any of my devices. It is not user friendly at all. I give up trying to keep figuring out how to reconnect it to everything. I think I’ll just buy a new printer.Applepie38

Outdated documentation, unstable WiFi
The app doesn’t have any of the things they say to click on. For air print over WiFi it says open app and click on connect. You need to update the doc when you change the app.
Had it working, the older app had the options. Internet went down and it died. Have not been able to fl get it working using the current app.rej456
I just bought an open box P2502W off eBay without knowing about all these connection issues
Like other people, I was having setup issues with the mobile app. I also thought having to connect to the printer’s wifi every time to print was dumb and didn’t make practical sense. Was having issues with that too anyways. What worked for me was actually going to the Pantum website and searching model number “P2502W” in their search bar, and I was able to locate and download a driver installer (Windows 10) for the 2500 series printer. Before installing driver files, I had to plug USB cord from printer into my PC. Then in the driver installer program theres a button for “one click WiFi installation” that is enabled if it recognizes the plugged in printer. You may have to manually enter your WiFi network name and password during setup that the printer will remember. When drivers are done installing you can unplug the cord, and finally the printer will show up on your WiFi network, like a normal printer thank goodness. No more dealing with this Pantum mobile app or connecting directly to the printer wifi/needing a separate hotspot with data/etc. I basically ignored the “QR code setup” stuff and just directly went to the website for a driver download instead. It’s a bit of a headache to setup and not very intuitive, but the printer works amazing after all the hassle. Don’t give up! I believe in you!jromero1
App Changed, Can No Longer Connect Printer to WiFi
I have a M6552NW. The "wifi" button on the printer prints a page containing a QR code and instructions for connecting to my printer. The QR code connects me to the Printer Wifi hotspot to print something essentially over bluetooth rather than my home network.
There is a "Method II" on the printed page with instructions for connecting the printer to my home wireless router. The screenshot is outdated, and the settings they mention no longer exist in the app. The app has been significantly simplified, and there are no settings to connect to wifi anymore.daveworley
