Long deliveries, missing food
I’ve been a loyal customer, but the current service is really frustrating. They often don’t include everything I ordered, or I end up waiting for two hours. Why charge for delivery if you can’t provide proper service?

Pioneers who brought home food delivery to Gibraltar. Now copied by others but none have the same support that Hungry Monkey provide. Regular promotions and rewards too. Keep up the good work team.
Dodgy dealer, do not recommend.
I received a milkshake with all of the cream melted, and cold chips, as the hot and cold food hadn’t been separated on transit. I order from the same vendor frequently and normally have no problems. There has been once previously that this had happened, so I ensured to write in the notes section of my order “please keep milkshake and hot food separate”.
On this occasion I ordered at 6.30pm, and the food was delivered at 7.15pm. I notified them within 5 minutes to let them know that the food was cold.
Hungry Monkey collected the food from me around an hour later, and continued to ignore requests via messenger regarding a replacement. They said that they had fulfilled their part of the contract, and didn’t care that the food had arrived cold.
They did not offer a replacement of the food until 9.10pm, after a lengthy debate with the manager about how this was unacceptable, and nearly 3 hours after my initial order, at which point it was far too late to eat.
The manager was incredibly rude to me, and denied me a refund. I had to go to the extent to suggest court proceedings in order to get my money back, as they had collected the food and not given a replacement or refund. Hungry Monkey then proceeded to shut my account down the next day.
Never I my life have I experienced such horrendous customer service. I definitely do not recommend this service, you should be able to bring to the company’s attention that your food is cold, especially as these situations can lead to food poisoning. In this case the company neglected to care or to rectify the situation. Would recommend using another delivery company.

Big promises - poor execution and sadly no customer support !
Unfortunately, I used this company to order a takeaway , and more unfortunately I was sadly disappointed! The meal was VERY late , but the worst part was that there was no way to communicate with the service - ONLY with the delivery driver - talk about pass the buck . How a modern p2p business can survive in these times is beyond me ? The worst part is that there is no way to contact them - WARNING ado not use !

Closed Restaurants
The app will allow you to order from a restaurant that is closed, leaving you waiting for a confirmation and you will have to call customer service to cancel the order. Huge pain.
