Reviews of Wayward App

  • Good lightweight trip tracker

Used to track my route while riding motorcycles across Peru and share the map with my family and friends. Worked very well. It’s simple and just the basics (no speed, distance, elevation, etc) but I kind of like that.
  • Super simple to use!

It’s very easy to use so I don’t spend my whole trip staring at my phone, and it’s a really nice way to drop notes along the way to me/my friends following along. I’ve used it to track my running routes in the neighborhood but also for multi-day adventures and it works great! It barely burns any battery running in the background, which is nice.
  • Super simple to use

Love it works offline and that I can leave notes for people following along on my hikes.
