  • Pros and cons

Pros: FUN! I really enjoy playing this game! It’s got a family-friendly story, a welcome break from the Hoo-Rah Kill games all over the place.

Cons: ENERGY and RESOURCES! The standard energy container is far too small to do more than a few tasks before having to close out, and wait an hour or so for it to replenish. It’s like four minutes of gameplay > one hour of recovery. Who has time for this? Even Diggy’s Adventure has a way of letting one increase both the container size and replenishing speed... WITHOUT spending real-life money. As for resources, I’m only just scratching the wall others have mentioned, where it takes too long to get resources for the Captain.

I’ll probably keep the game for a while, to see if these items get addressed.

  • Frustrated

The game is a lot like Klondike and there is improvement in resource equity. But the game play is frustrating with such a slow response to a tap. An example: the response to tapping to collect eggs is so slow I’ve moved on to something else when the eggs are finally collected. And the cows are always showing the need for hay when they already have hay. It makes it hard to harvest the milk.
Is there any plan to improve this problem in the near future?

  • Love the idea!

Fun island game, but it does have a lot of lag time, never enough energy to go far, unless you can afford to spend real money on fake items, not in my budget. On top of that, you need shipments on the boat to get certain supplies to complete buildings, and yet it asks for those items before you can even complete what that factory produces, so basically you have to wait 15 hours in hopes the next ship won’t ask for furniture you can’t build without the parts needed from a shipment. This game always runs a second or two behind, and removing bushes and rocks cost more the. You can build up in a 24 hour period. I love the concept, I love the whole Polynesian Adventure thing, but I can’t afford to play the game and make progress so I am about to give up and move on. With some major adjustments, this game could just as fun as Klondike Adventure, but it’s not as player friendly as Klondike is. Just being honest!

  • Resource Updates

I usually never leave reviews unless I really hate or really love an app/game. However I want to take this opportunity to give feedback on a game that could be made perfect save one fix. I am addicted to this game, however the more I play, the more I get my hopes let down for whether or not I will continue playing. I am running out of resources and on my main land and have no way to access old lands on the map to mine. I have run out of gold and clay completely and haven’t seen anymore in the lands on the map. Regeneration of resources would significantly improve game play and keep players. Even if regeneration was sparse it would still help.

  • Fun game but some issues

I really like the game! It reminds me of Klondike of which I play also. I found myself getting caught up in the game.....but. The game does lag horribly! Also, sometimes I don’t get all of my energy. It will show the energy go up then at times go right back down before I’m able to use it. I reached one board and have been trying to collect beetroots but every time I click on the beetroot’s nothing happens. I don’t mind the wait time due to I have other games on my phone to pass the time until it builds back up. If the glitches and lagging were fixed I would give this game 5 stars but at this time I can only give it a 2.

  • Could be better...

This is a good game, but the glitches are annoying. Some of my sailing prizes would disappear after there’s latency. On top of which finding items could be incredibly difficult. It doesn’t make sense to me to have a limited time location with tasks to complete and no way to get the resources to complete them (Yes, I had the Resource Shop, but what was needed often isn’t there).

On top of which, waiting for energy, growing things, farming, etc. You find yourself playing all day, especially since limited time events are constant. I’d rather spend my time on less problematic games.

  • Polynesia Adventure

I got into this game and realized it was about the same as a game about being in Alaska or somewhere that I tried to play and stopped for the same reasons.

Slow response and performance problems. You try to go at a normal pace and the game can’t keep up. It stacks commands and hangs. If you went to fast you loose some of your inventory and progress.

It is also is a very slow game. You have to go in and out of the game multiple times a day so you can keep generating energy to play. It takes forever to generate gold to be able to advance. Once you buy a building for say 20,000 gold then you have several stages of building that take a very long time and cost a lot before you can use the building. If you don’t build in order of the tasks you are sunk. You need a lot of houses for workers, which they don’t tell you. Each building needs resources from other buildings you have built in order to build the next one.

There is no FAQ so figure it out on your own. They will answer questions you send, in about 2 days but often they don’t understand what you are asking. Language maybe?

I was so frustrated I quit the game and went looking for something that works.

  • Pretty good but...

So far the game is pretty good. It’s got a bit of lag but that doesn’t really bother me. What does bother me though is the energy. I bought a starter pack when it popped up. $2.99. No big deal. Game is fun so it’s worth it. So I bought it. Some supplies and 500 energy. That was what I was really looking forward to. Would let me gather enough resources to knock out a couple of quests I thought. So I get it, the supplies show up just fine and so does my new energy at first. Puts me at like 515 or something like that. But then after a minute when I’m getting ready to go on a harvesting spree, it goes to 90 and I can not find any way to recover the rest. Rather upset. Really just want what I paid for. Game is worth small purchases like that I think but I won’t be spending anymore until this is fixed and I get my energy back

  • Good game but difficult to play on iPhone X and up

A lot of the button are at the bottom of the screen where you’d slide up to return to the home screen. I only been playing a few days and I’m tired of trying to click somewhere only to accidentally exit the game again!!!! Maybe switch the buttons to the top of the screen instead??? Otherwise I like the game.

  • Good game but...

I like playing this game, but there are issues with it. There seems to be frequent server problems and connection problems.... like when one of your animals is done producing, and turns into a present, pressing on the present doesn’t open it right away...and clicking on the maxed out chicken coop drives me batty! You have to listen to this persistent dinging sound until the eggs are gathered, but to gather them you press the chicken coop a bunch of times and when it’s good and ready, it will give you the eggs.... that’s just plain annoying.... also, sometimes you’ll gather the product your making and go to produce another one, and it will say that the spots are already taken. And you know they aren’t because you just gathered one...my other games play just fine! Why can’t this one?
