  • TLDR: Moneygrab/bad app designs

This review is over the fact you have to pay to do basically everything

    Want more than three loops
    Gotta pay

    Want to add an effect
    Gotta pay

Want to add a different metronome
    Gotta pay

It ruins the point of a loop app if you cannot actually make a proper loop

Also there is no autosave and it never tells you to manually save it and so it has caused me to lose work

  • Can’t load saved loops :/

Hi, I just bought the full version and it’s really fun and easy to use. I’d give it 5 stars if it didn’t have this one issue. For some reason. I can’t access saved loops. Every time I press “load”, the app freezes and I can’t do anything. Maybe I’m doing something wrong? I’m running the app on the iPhone 12 Pro. Anyway, besides that the app is great!

  • YES (but)

I really like this app. I find it straightforward and found my way in without getting lost or distracted. Up and running fast. I like the relatively rich options available in the metronome. So I will be using it as is in a sort of standalone way- but like many others would love to see it available in audiobus the same way other apps by this developer appear (tape emulator, compressors- each very good as well) looking online I see that many thought that audiobus iaa integration would happen in version 1.1 but that was a year ago I think- and did not include those features- hopefully soon 1.2 will !!

  • Can’t delete anything

Running on iPhone SE and I can’t delete any of my loops or start a new project
  • Lovely interface, great reverb.

Just played around with this, enjoyed the beautiful layout, calming utility vibe. I will elaborate when I get to know it a little more.
  • Cool app

Been needing this. Nice GUI too. Wish you could trim loops in case your timing was off😢
  • Potentially my next favorite looper!

It’s simple and easy to use and has all the essential features you need for live-looping. The built-in effects are nice and even if people are asking an Inter-app/AU effect slot, I’d rather have the current setup. You can filter unwanted noise and frequencies on the input then add reverb and dynamics on the output.
MIDI mapping works well and I just wish I could find a buffer length setting.

At first launch, I was thinking like “why there are no pan knobs in the mixer?” but I don’t want it now. When you’re out there with just an instrument and your voice, you want everything to be in mono because your audience won’t be standing right in the center of the stereo field.
So I always try to turn on Mono Audio in iOS settings to enforce mono output before doing a gig.

Some minor flaws I noticed are those red mute state buttons and yellow ABCD buttons. The colors don’t match the overall design and are not helping to see in the dark. My advice for the developers is to spend some time on choosing color that both look good in the darkness of the night and under the sunlight of a normal day.
A looper won’t be any good without a clear design and ease of use.

  • Great simple looping

Impressive first version, which makes it easy to do looping and create music fast while on the go. Clearly careful thought has gone into the features and look forward to seeing how this develops. The IAP make sense (get extra later and effects).
  • Awesome looper unique features

I paid for the upgrade an app this good I felt developer needs to be supported and compensated so they can keep improving an already infectious app this app is aa absolute joy to use love it
  • Awesome potential but a bit buggy

I watched about a minute of Dougs review and immediately downloaded it as I love loopers, first I thought it was almost perfect (apart from missing aum/Cubasis support) but then and now I am finding it almost impossible to delete overdubs, or the whole recording.
I am using iPad Air one and two running iOS 12.4 and 12.43 and both are plagued with the same problem, also under both iOS versions the app is taking a very long time to interface with/ recognise the focusrite I track dock I am using with one of them, I tried shopping but it’s the same : 30 seconds or so of nail biting before the app starts, at the moment I am having to quit every time I want to delete the track which is annoying..
Please get these bugs fixed and you will have a real winner there..
